America intervenes in the Mexican War of Independence

What if the United States, seeking opportunities for expansion, intervened in the Mexican War of Independence?

The Mexican Government, successor to New Spain, decides to offer territories to the US that it has no expectation of holding: Florida, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo. A boundary in Texas more favorable to the US than OTL would also be on the table.
