America Becomes a Commonwealth Nation with George Washington as Prime Minister

That's ASB. The Commonwealth didn't exist during Washington's lifetime. You can have the British North America remain so, and eventually transition into a Dominion and then a Commonwealth Nation, but not anywhere near George Washington's lifetime. There are plenty of timelines with similar premises, search for Thande's Look to the West.

This would be much more plausible in a No ARW scenario than a Failed ARW scenario. Though actually having the ATL US connected to Britain but all the way to having a prime minister equivalent is way ASB within Washington's lifetime, IMO.

Alright so the year is 4460 following the 2nd partition of the United States a clone of George Washington makes a successful bid at the presidency and successful petitions the British to join the Commonwealth thwarting Canadian ambitions to conquer the whole of the great lakes region.

Hrm. This didn't seem to make them that happy.

Is "them" in this sentence the Irish or the Americans? If the former, there were religious and historical grievances which didn't apply to the American situation; if the latter, Ireland IIRC wasn't directly taxed by Westminster, which seems to have been the main grievance the colonists had.

A scenario where the colonies lose the AWI probably wouldn't see a United States at all. IOTL the idea of unifying colonies into bigger dominions was put into practice to enable the Canadas to better co-ordinate their defences against America. I'm not sure why this model was then applied to places like Australia and South Africa -- they thought it looked better on maps, perhaps? -- but ITTL the idea might not even occur. Plus thirteen relatively smaller colonies would be easier to keep a lid on than one big colony whose combined population and industry might one day exceed that of Britain.
