America, and Asia in Munich Agreement fails, leads to war

All right, they been a few Munich Agreement failing Threads, and most have England and French beating Germany. Now, what affects would this have in the US, and over in Asia? How would the war, and aftermath be seen the government, and the public?

Well, Japan isn't moving south. But, without the war, how would the USA pressure, for instance, the Netherlands into not selling oil to Japan? (Of course, IITL the Germans might still attack the Netherlands).
I think there might be a possibility of Japan getting bogged down in China for good, while the USA remains at peace
