Alternative Pseudo-Revolutionary/Napoleonic Figures

The French Revolution and the rising of Napoleon was set forward by a very particular series of events involving famine, financial ruin and political repression. The French revolution is by no means exactly reproducible but I have always wondered about the possibility or requirements for other Napoleonic figures to rise in other nations?

As a germanophillie I had always wondered if this time period could have brought about a German Republic (then Empire) led by a Prussian Napoleon. As a new Alternate History poster, I was wondering if any AH veterans had any ideas (or links to other timelines) of alternative early-modern revolutionary movements?

Andreas Hofer - Tyrol / Austria https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andreas_Hofer

Gneisenau - Prussia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_Neidhardt_von_Gneisenau

Possibly Francisco Javier Castaños - Spain (unsure about his politics) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francisco_Javier_Castaños,_1st_Duke_of_Bailén

Stretching it a bit Speransky - Russia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Speransky
