Hey, I've noticed the popularity of alternate American leaders, I wanted to see if there are enough Canadian history geeks around to try to get one started for Canada. I know nineteenth century Canadian politics isn't a strength of most, so I'll do two PMs to start things off.
1) George-Étienne Cartier (refuses the title of sir), 1867-75 (Conservative MP from Montreal East)
2) Edward Blake, 1875-79 (Liberal MP from Toronto North) resigns to take up a seat in the UK parliament as an Irish Nationalist MP*
*The historic Blake also did so.
