Alternative names for Romania?

In OTL, Romania was so named because its inhabitants speak a Romance language (i.e. based on Latin). But the Eastern Roman Empire – now referred to as the Byzantine Empire – was also commonly called Romania at the time (i.e. "land of the Romans"). So in the event that the Eastern Roman Empire survives somehow but OTL-Romania still unites, what are possible alternate names for the country?

My first thought was of course "Well, what did that ethnicity call themselves before they started calling themselves Romanians?" Then I saw they were called Vlachs (which I should've realised: my grandmother is a Greek Vlach), and realised that of course that's where the name "Wallachia" comes from. So I don't know how that would go as a name for the whole region.

As I said, that's the problem – what would the Moldavians think of that?

They did not have a problem with calling them self Romanians why will they have a problem with the Wallachia, and then the name Wallachia the number of regions including Moldavia and Transylvania (see quote)

Statal Entities mentioned in Middle Ages chronicles:

In a federal Romania or more Federal one,the country could be called Unite Principles, since when Moldavia and Wallachia united the official name was The United Preinitialises of Moldavia and Wallachia.Another one could be United states of Wallachia's or U.S.W. for short.

You could always have Wallachia. The Romanians actually called one of their states Tara Romaneasca (=Romania) for centuries but it didn't stop everyone else from calling it Wallachia, so surely there's a way to keep that stubbornness going into the modern times.
