Alternative names for 20th Century Wars?

For the major wars and turning points of the 20th Century conflicts, what other possible (and plausible) names could be used in alternative timeline?

Russo-Japanese War = Far East War = Rising Sun - Russian Bear War (a possible ATL propaganda version)

WW1 = Great War = Pan-European Civil War (an EU way of looking at history)

WW2 = 2nd Great War = War Against Totalitarianism (a neocon ATL variation of the war Against Terror)

Korean War = Choson War (using the older name of Korea) = Gyorean War (another older name of Korea) = Choson Peninsula War (self explanatory)

Cold War = Long Drum Roll (from the GURPS AE "Dixie" timeline) = The Long Stand-Off (self explanatory)

Any more you can think of?

If World War I continues to be called "the Great War", World War II could be called "the Greater War."

"The Global Anti-Fascist Struggle" is/was a common name for World War II in some Communist and former Communist Countries, but is uncommon in the English-speaking World.

JRR Tolkien wrote a story in 1944 which was set in 1986, and the characters there refer to WW2 (whose name was not yet set in 1944) as "The Six Years' War" and "The Second German War".

In "The Dragon and the Bear," WWII is referred to as "The Second Great War" instead of "The Eurasian War," since combat is contained to the Middle East, Russia, Italy, France, and the Pacific instead of spreading all the way from Spain to the Pacific.

I think "TSGW" works as an alternate WWII name.

If the combat in countries outside of Vietnam was more substantial, the Vietnam War could be "The Southeast Asian War" or "The Indochinese War."

(More combat in Laos and Cambodia beyond incursions? Chinese intervention?)

How could the Korean War be the Second Pacific Struggle when it doesn't even touch the Pacific?

The Irak War: The War of Alternative Spelling?

1.Korea is located in the Pacific Rim, right?

2: In Spanish, my native language, Iraq's most common spelling is Irak, and I forget sometimes this is not the case in English. But fair enough.
