Alternative Hitler's

I just had this thought about writing alternatives to Hitler's life in the form of obituaries.

The only guidelines is that Hitler has to have lived at least up to his date of death in OTL.
He can live longer if you want.

Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 – 30 September 1975) was an Austrian-born German military genius.

Hitler rose through the ranks of the Imperial German army.
As a mere corporal he happened to mention an idea to another German great and one of his closest friends in later lift Erwin Rommel.

Rommel passed this idea on and eventually it went all the way to General Falkenhayn the German Army chief of staff.
This simple but bold idea lead to a decisive victory and break out at Verdun which lead to the eventual French surrender in November 1916.

As reward for this idea Hitler was promoted to lieutenant and was given an over aged entry to officer training in Germany.

With the Kaiserreich's victory in the great war Hitler after graduating top of his class went on to have a stellar career over the next twenty years.
However it was his tactical brilliance in the second world war 1943- 1949 where he really made his mark on the world.
This brutal conflict would once again see Germany victorious against the Communists for the East and West and the fascists from the South.

Kaiser Wilhelm III rewarded Hitler for his efforts by making him the Prince of Vienna.

Hitler's council was sort by many nations with even the USA a long time adversary of Germany on the economic front seeking his council in dealing with the insurgency in Indo-China.
The pity was that he never lived to see the fruits of his wisdom as he died after a short illness following complications with his Parkinsons disease shortly before the war in Indo-China ended.

Adolf Hitler is survived by his wife Rachel and children Jacob, David and Judith and his four grand children.

General Fieldmarshall Adolf Hitler, Prince of Vienna will lay in state before a state funeral after which he will be buried in the Jewish section of the main cemetery in Berlin in accordance with his wishes to make up for past wrongs.

The hero of the Reich will be sorely missed.

Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889- 24 May 1958)

Adolf Hitler was an Austrian born retired corpral from the Imperial German Army who fought in the First Great War 1914-1918. During the Interwar years he became a known nationalist agitator in Munich, and gave his supprt to several far right wing groups. He participated in the infamous Beerhall uprising in November 1923 and was arrested. During his time in prison he finalized his anti- semitic world view and wrote the obscure autobiography Mein Kampf.

After being released he became a known newspaper agitator and filled the newspapers of Germany with nationalistic ant- bolshevik and anti- semitic propaganda. He supported president von Hindenburg's reforms to strengthen the presidential office and supported Ludwig Beck's bid for the presidency in 1935 Presidential Elections. Hitler fully supported the Beck laws that outlawed the Communist Party and the German expansion policy towards Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland. During the Second Great War Adolf Hitler supported the government and blamed the Jews of German shortcomings.

After the end of the war in 1945 Hitler's columns reached all newspapers about how the Jews once again had stabbed Germany in the back. Hitler lived in Bavaria, in the Western occupation zone and was one of the prominent leaders in the protest movements agaisnt the Soviet occupation zone in East Germany. However in his last years Hitler gave in to alcohol and became, as several of his friends described him "a sad drunk". In 1958 Adolf Hitler died due to Alcohol poisoning.

Lets try one that reflects that Hitler was a massive screwup (Syphon's PoD is going to really early, seeing as how Hitler was on the French Front and Rommel was a Commando fighting Italy--and then there is the part where Hitler had an abusive childhood...) Indeed, the only thing that shares in common with Hitler is the name...

Madman of Munich Dead!

Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 - 29 February 1948)

The lunatic leader of a small fringe party, the National Socialist Party, rose to notoriety when former Army Corporal turned party chairman Adolf Hitler attempted to seize power forcefully in Bavaria.

When the police quickly suppressed the revolt, a number of prominent Nazis were among the dead--Herman Goring, dead after a shot to the leg passed through an artery, Ernst Rohm, dead after a shot went throw his skull, and the probable leader, Erich Ludenroff, killed as he walked straight through a hail of gunfire.

Adolf Hitler attempted to claim that he had acted to save the interests of the German State, but was thrown out of the jury box after quarreling with the judge. He was sentenced to death but the German Government did not want to turn Hitler into a martyr and Hitler spent the rest of his days in Landsdorf prision, writing insane ramblings and ultimately being transferred to a mental ward.

Hitler is survived by various siblings, none of whom bothered to attend his funeral.

Adolph Hitler (20 April 1889 – 3 May 1956) - Neoclassical Architect and Artist.

Born in Austria, Hitler served with the German army in the Great War on the western front. After dabbling in right wing politics, Hitler accepted a position with architect Peter Behrens' Werkbund at Kunstgewerberschule in Düsseldorf where he showed a dramatic and grand flair.

After the Rohm putsch, Hitler took a job with the new Reichskunstministry, designing many of the Reich's principle public spaces including the new Reichstag and the Siegplatz stadium in Bremen. Most of examples of his pre- and at-war works were irreparably damaged in Allied bombing.

After the war Hitler took a position with Speer Associates, designing such landmark examples of postwar neoclassicalism as the Munich BMW building for the Bavarian Federal Republic and Victory Field in Chicago, Illinois. His work is best known for its grand, towering scale and use of forced perspective to enhance the appearance of size. His liberal combination of the Neoclassical, Modern, and Gothic styles has been listed by many architectural historians as some of the earliest examples of Postmodernist Architecture, a comparison which Mr. Hitler, because of his continued conservative politics, would likely abhor.

His artwork, which mirrored his architecture in its forced perspective and scale, received only middling reception at the time, but is gaining a small following among a small cadre of collectors with eclectic taste.

Of course controversy still surrounds Mr. Hitler. His well-known public antisemitic tirades and other tantrums, combined with his violent reactions to any alteration in his designs, gave him a reputation as "impossible to work with or for". Though a health-conscious vegetarian who eschewed alcohol, he was a noted abuser of amphetamines and other stimulants.

His promising and productive career was cut short after suffering an early stroke, possibly related to his constant work habits and excessive use of amphetamines.

Today Hitler is remembered as an unwitting founder of the "Maximalist" and "Uberist" schools of architecture.

Butterflies BM becides I never said where the conversation took place.:p

My next attempt was going to be a drug addicted artist.

But somebody beat me to that theme so I'll have to try and think of another.

HITLER GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS

Nuremburg Trial ignores incoherent ramblings and nonsensical arguments; Jurists agree, Hitler guilty of all charges. The Penalty, Death. To be carried out within days.

Adolf Hitler, leader of the Ultra-Right National Socialist Party, came to power by the democratic process, destroying a fragile German democratic government, and then beginning a nationalist rampage that wound up with tens of millions dead and the great cities of old Europe--London, Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Rome, Vienna--in ruins. Perhaps worse, Hitler ordered the deliberate murder of Jews, Slavs, homosexuals, the elderly, and anyone else who didn't fit into his view of a better world. Over One million were systematically murdered at Auschwitz alone; the final death toll is unknown.

Captured by Soviet Forces along with fellow defendant Joseph Gobbels, by Soviet Forces, Adolf Hitler has never expressed remorse for his actions or his intentions, even as he was paraded around by Soviet Chairman Iosef Stalin.

His trial, made longer by his rambling nonanswers and utter refusal to co-operate with the tribunal, is perhaps the clearest evidence of his utter depravity. Much of it was conducted in his absence as a result.

Hitler the Egoist? : ''I knew that it was he who had been chosen, for I was still a slave''

Adolf Hitler 1889-1938- Short Biography and extracts from Mein Kampf

''I saw that man, that living breathing man who had told me his dreams and with whom i had jousted will to will, lying dead in the trench, his fingers grasping at air, taken by the gas. I wondered why I had been absent, at first i thought it was providence or destiny or some other foolis fancy that had moved me. As I saw his glazed eyes in the sleep without dreams I knew that it was he was he who had been chosen, for i was still a slave''

Hitler conffessed that it took him two years to recover in body and mind from the war. His mind would always wander back to the time he returned to the trench to find his left leaning jewish friend dead along with the rest of his pltoon in a gas attack. He came to think he had been cursed to wander the earth.

''Men went to war as brothers and came back as walking corpses broken by the industrial forge. Pathetically they turned to any cult that offered them solace; bolshevism, christianity, social democracy, the religion of nationalism. Any false dream that can rebuild the machine of authority in a new image and allow man to embrace the haunting spectre of modernity without recoiling in sheer horror at its visage.''

Dissillusioned, hitler drifted through political groups in the early 20's, joining the ranks of the KAPD and the FAUD among others. Always he found his charisma and his political belefs and neiztsche infuenced individualism set him at odds with these groups. Eventually he was arrested in 1926 for organising anti-government riots and whilst in prison wrote what is considered to be his main work, an account of his life and ideas, heavily influenced by neiztsche, stirner and bakunin which he titled mein kampf, as a deliberate jibe against the idea of class struggle.

''What we have to fight for is freedom and independence from the idea of fatherland and to fight for the ability of mankind to live by his desires and not according to the fullflimment of some imagined mission asigned by the creater or the worthless quota ridled dreams of some bureaucrat or other political ''despot of the will''.
We must not bow subservient for ever more nor lay ourselves on the altar of marxism and its slave morality. We must be prometheus unbound from whose shining brow the divine spark of genius has sprung at all times, forever kindling anew that fire of knowledge which illuminated the night of silent mysteries and thus caused man to climb the path to mastery over the other beings of the earth.''

Upon release from prison he continued his political activities in a somewhat more subdued fashion, although his published work had gained him some notoriety. By 1934-5 he was under virtual house arrest under the new emergency powers act passed by the National Coalition Government.

In 1936 he went to spain to offer his services where is military aptitude and charisma meant he rose to command a militia division which he tranformed into a shock unit along the lines of the iron column. Hitler commanded from the front on a mixture of elan and amphetamines and his combination of stormtrooper based assaults and armoured warfare brought results and breakthroughs against the italians, albeit at high cost.

Hitler adresses his troops before an offensive. May 1st 1937
''I address you not as soldiers, but as brave men. A man who walks into machine gun fire and does not fear it is a fool, a brave man conquers that fear, calculates hwere the fire is coming from and achiees mastery over the situation. This is why we will defeat the enemy, because we are brave men. Fascism is a society built on cowardice, obedience without question and snivelling subservience to authority, one good kick and the whole rotten structure comes crashing down''

In the aftermath of the republican victory hitler met his end. As an anarchist alligned albeit loosely with the CNT and an outspoken critic of the republic, hitler was killed along with his spanish mistress by the NKVD in the Madrid Terror although his body was never recovered.
Famously in 1948, five ex-soldiers of one of his assault companies launched a wave of assasinations against the NKVD officers held responsible.

ok so thats Hitler the anarchist, we now need hitler the disgruntled american cabbie and of course hitler rediscovering his jewish roots in some form or other if someone could do those

Adolf Hitler (1893-1954)

The reign of King Adolf of the magnifient Austro-Hungarian Empire was cut short yesterday. General Hitler had boldly taken power following the murder of the entire royal family last year. The benevolent leader had implemented many reforms to benefit all under his magnanimous rule, and will be sorely missed. One can only wonder what King Adolf might have accomplished had he lived to see his reforms completed.

The San Antonio Times.

Adolf Hitler (1889-1991)

Born in San Antonio, Texas to Austrian Immigrants, Adolf Hitler eventualy enrolled in Harvard and graduated with flying colours in Political science.

State Senator (1919-1925)

Hitler ran for State Senator in Texas as an Independent on the platform of Change after seeing the corruption in both the Republicans and the Democrats. He won by a plurality for his seat. His proposed legislation icnluded civil rights laws that would relax the Jim Crow laws in Texas. Naturally, these were shot down. So Hitler tried to run for Governor, which he got by a landslide thanks to greater use of the Radio in the United States. Soon, texans were listening every week for Hitler's charismatic voice, discussing with the public for one hour a week about major issues, namely education, civil rights, Crime and the Constitution. He was known to work all day and have very little personal interests other than Classical music and art.

Governor of Texas (1925-1932)

Hitler's 7 years as governor are seen as a blessing by many in the Lone Star State. His fiscally conservative policies led to a high growth rate for his constituents as well as the expansion of industry. Crime dropped significantly as well as corruption and waste.

Presidential Campaign

After Mulling about it for a while, Hitler decides to run for office as President. He runs a very successful campaign, utilising the Media and saying how the Democrats and the Republicans have "been only two sides of the same coin. I am the edge of that coin", playing on the slim chances of success he had. Yet surprisingly, he won the election. He was not only the First Independent in office, he was also the first Catholic, leading to terrorist attacks by the Ku Klux Klan throughout his presidency.

First Term of his presdiency 1932-1936

Adolf Hitler immediately set to work dealing with the Depression. His first 100 days ensured that America was the first nation to get out of the depression. Namely, according to milton Friedman, it was the closure of the Federal Reserve. Another move was the American Infrastructure Act that led to massive works, namely highways and other public works. He appointed Serbian immigrant Nikola Tesla as his science advisor and also had HP Lovecraft as his Secretary of Science. Concerned about the growing threat of Imperial Japan to America's interests in the Pacific, he asked congress for a buldup of the Military as well as a reorganization of the War department into the Defense Department with a Joint Chiefs of Staff. He decided to appoint someone of experience into the position of Secretary of defense, so Smedley got the job as well as there being an independent Air force, as Hitler mused once that "Britain's domain is the sea, Russia's is the land, so therefore America's must be the skies". America also began to be wary of events in Europe, after Italy attacked Ethiopia. Nazi Germany under Josef Kraftman was also causing trouble, so America began the small, but long march to war.

Re-election

Hitler had gained enough confidence in the people after the DOW returned to 90% of its pre-1929 figure. His running mate, Franklin Roosevelt, was also helping the campaign in the north. With Texas now a solid Green state as well as California and New York, Hitler was re-elected in a landslide against both Alf Landon and John Garner.

Second Term of his presidency (1936-1940)

Adolf Hitler further continued military buildups and education reforms, as promised in his re-election mandate "a Contract with America". Concerned about events in Germany and China, Hitler creates the Roosevelt commission to assess American development, which is complete by 1937. Among other things, the Roosevelt commission recommends ending the Immigration act and allowing settlement in the Hawai'i and Alaska territories. This leads to a flood in Jewish refugees. By 1939, Alaska, Hawai'i and Puerto Rico were all granted Statehood, with America having 51 states in total. Then in August, something odd happened. Cuba requested Annexation by the United States as well as Haiti and the Dominican republic. Some European scientists wrote a letter to Hitler about a destructive weapon and how Kraftman intends to use it, so Hitler commissions the Austin Project for the Atomic bomb in 1938. Keeping in line with the Two Term limit, Hitler declined re-election. His election to the presidency ultimately shifted American politics on a completely new paradigm.

Post presidency

Hitler did a great Job for America, with it defeating Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan by 1944, and leading to the rise of the Independent as a viable candidate in America. His policies also set in motion the rise of the United States as a superpower, which competed with Russia in the Cold War that ended in 1978, with the USSR's collapse. Currently, the United States is the world's only superpower. All in all, Hitler was one of the best Presidents America ever had, especially with its legacy leading to it going across all of North America by 1979.

Today is the memorial service of local carpenter Adolf Hiedler.

Born in Austria in 1889, Mr. Hiedler emigrated to America in 1909, settling in Tennessee after a few years, where he would live for the rest of his life. Survinving him are his wife and two children.

Adolf Hitler
The man that introduced jazz to the masses in Germany, Adolf Hitler, is dead. He died of cancer but his joint keept the pain away and the inspiration flowing as he loved to say.

After serving in the great war, he played saxophone and worked as a manager for visiting American musicians. He teamed up with the openly homosexual Ernest Röhm and formed a group that could protect him and the partygoers from communists and freicorps hating homosexuals and negros, a group associated with jazz music.

Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 – 03 January 1947) was an Austrian-born later German sporting icon.

Adolf Hitler didn't discover he greatest skill til late 1917 when he ran from the front lines in France where he out ran the military police until caught in Bonn waiting for a train.

This sporting icon might never have lived up to his greatness as he was condemned to death for cowardice in the face of battle.
Only the end of the First world war saw Hitler saved from the firing squad.

His running from battle would drive Adolf to become one of the greatest hurdlers of all time winning gold for Austria in the 100 and 200 meter hurdles in five consecutive olympics games from 1920 til 1936 where he completed the double at the age of 47.

Retiring he enter politics as a Nazi under Rohm.
The failure of the Nazis led to a vacume that would once again see Germany become a monarchy only this time a constitutional one.

Adolf Hitler died in the last great terror bombing by the red air force on Vienna.

For all his faults and mistakes in his life he will probably be remembered as the best hurdler of all time.

This flawed sporting icon will be missed by the pride he brought Germans in their darkest years after the first world war.

Berlin's "Fuhrer" Dies from Exposure
Berlin Stern, 4 May 1949

Local Berlin fixture and self-proclaimed "Fuhrer of the German Volk" Adolf Hitler was found dead on a park bench on Unter den Linden yesterday morning. A Great War veteran whose voice was garbled to non-comprehensibility from gas inhalation, Hitler was often spotted wandering Berlin's streets, calling upon the great "rise of the Aryan volk" and going on barely understandable tirades against "Jews and other untermenschen". His eccentric ways and humorous claims made him a popular topic of conversation among locals, whom often played along with his claims to sovereignty. Hitler is survived by his two dogs, a shepherd named Blondi and a Dachshund named Blitzer, both of whom were adopted by local shopkeep Mosel Goldfarb. "Adolf used to badger me about my jewishness all the time," said Goldfarb with a laugh, "even as I gave him bread and dog food. It was endearing, really. Blondi and Blitzer always seemed to appreciate me so I'm happy to take them in."

Adolf Hitler 1889-1967

Famed filmmaker and auteur.

Died of heart failure at Kaiser Wilhelm Hospital, seventy-seven years old, is survived by wife, Augusta, and children, Bruno, Hans and Sophie.

Born in Braunau, Austria, Adolf Hitler struggled as an aspiring painter in pre-war Vienna but was ultimatley turned down by the Vienna School of Art. He served in the Bavarian Army during the Great War and was awarded the Iron Cross for bravery in the front lines. After the war he worked as a set designer at the UFA Studios and by the mid-20's had gotten work as director of several relatively succesful but unremarkable and formulaic romantic comedies like Fritz & Frieda (1926), Max & Magda (1927) and Helmut & Helga (1928).

Hitler rose to prominence in 1930 when he was selected to direct the Great War epic Die Wacht am Rhein (1932), in which he began to earn a reputation as "difficult to work with", for his quick-tempered, erratic direction of actors and his emerging eccentric signature film style, which involved grandiose aerial photography, intimidating perspective shots, massive use of extras for parade and battle scenes and overly dramatic, angry character monologues, which came into conflict with the film's producers who wished for the movie to be more conventional. Actor, Ludwig Brennman was qouted as saying "When Adolf bellows at me for having the wrong facial expression or hand gesture at a particular scene, I don't know if he is an utter lunatic madman or a creative genius". Hitler eventually got his way as Die Wacht am Rhein was both financially and critically successful, garnering a record breaking 42 million Reichsmark and winning 5 German Film Prize Awards including best picture and director.

In 1934, Hitler began the pre-production of his most famous work, the filmic adaptation of the Wagnerian epic operas, the "Der Ring des Nibelung" quadrilogy. Riding on the success of "Die Wacht am Rhein", Hitler managed to get enough funding for the 39 Million Reichsmark budget of "Die Rhinegold" (1937) which took almost an entire year to film. It was released in 1937 and garnered another recordbraking 52 million reichsmark in the box office and again, Hitler won the German Film Prize for Best Director. Hitler set out to work on "Die Walkurie" (1939) which again broke records in the box office and took home 7 GFP's including Best Picture. The third in the series "Siegfried" came out in 1940 but did not do as well in the box office as its predecessors, garnering only 44 million Reichsmark, which with a 40 million budget meant it only earned a mere 4 million. Despite its relative non-success with the studios, it earned enough critical acclaim for seven GFP nominations though it won only one, Best Cinematography, which became Hitler's third GFP.

The coming of the Second Great War in 1942 triggered a need for "patriotic films" in UFA and Hitler's plans to make the last in the quadrilogy "Gotterdammerung" were brushed aside by the studio bosses, although Hitler argued that his Wagnerian epics were patriotic and had the power to inspire the German soldier. Hitler instead spent the war making pro-war and war related documentaries like "At the Front" (1944) and "Know Your Enemy" (1945). Hitler's distinctive film style, which specialized in intimidating military marches and epic battle scenes proved excellent for wartime propaganda and for his efforts, he was awarded the special GFP Patriot Award at the end of the war in 1946.

After the war, Hitler finally got the funding for "Gotterdammerung" (1948) and filmed it for the duration of 1947. It was released the following year and garnered 64 million at the box office, making it his most successful film to date. It also won him his fourth GFP for Best Director as well as his first Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.

Hitler spent the next three years in semi-retirement in Bavaria. He emerged in 1951 with plans to make a film about the Second Great War, he picked up a script entitled "Feldwebel" (1953) about the life of famed jet ace, Kurt Welter. He began filming in early 1952 and the film was released the next year. The film, his first one in color, was notable for making good use of Hitler's love for vast aerial photography in his films and won Best Cinematography at that year's GFP Awards.

Hitler would spend the next ten years in retirement in Bavaria and emerged once more from his retirement in 1963 to make his final film, a touching, sentimental and poignant retelling of his youth as a failed artist in Vienna, "Der Wanderer" (1964). The GFP's decided to honor the aging filmmaker for the last time by awarding him his last two GFP's, one for Best Director and another one for Lifetime Achievement. Hitler returned to retirement afterward and spent the last three years of his life in Munich, Bavaria.

Adolf Hitler have died
Adolf Hitler was most known because his dad locked him up in his basement and he became well known when he was found by a plumber, Joe Joessky, making a repair. He had trouble adapting to a life above ground and used his talent for architecture to draw underground cities.

He used LSD to keep himself sane as he used to say. He was killed by a pig farmer and mass murderer named Himmler.

From The Times

Adolf Hitler (1889-1958)

The death was reported yesterday afternoon of Adolf Hitler, one of the leading advocates of Anglo-German friendship and reconciliation and former Liverpool MP.

Hitler was born at Braunau-on-the-Inn, Austria, on April 20th 1889. Little is known of his upbringing and childhood though rumours persisted of a brutal father and savage beatings.

Hitler's early passion was art and though rejected by Imperial Vienna, found an unlikely home in Liverpool when coming to visit in 1910. Hitler once described Liverpool as "the one true love of my life" and soon became part of the small but energetic artistic community.

Hitler would later admit he faced a real dilemma when war broke out in August 1914. Although anxious to fight in the Germanic cause, he was persuaded to stay by the Liverpool community and became an outspoken supporter of peace. This angered many other local elements and Hitler was repeatedly attacked by local civilians especially after 1916. A brief period of house arrest in 1917 did nothing to dampen his desire for peace and he welcomed the Armistice of November 1918 as a "new beginning for Europe".

Hitler hoped for a peaceful Germany but on a visit in 1919 he found disorder and chaos. Realising he no longer had a home in either Germany or Austria, he applied for and was granted British citizenship in 1921. Hitler entered local politics and stood unsuccessfully for Parliament as a Conservative in 1925.

Hitler finally became Conservative MP for Birkenhead in the Conservative landslide of 1931. Initially supportive of appeasement, he became concerned at German rearmament in the mid-1930s and became a staunch ally and friend of Winston Churchill.

Hitler made frequent broadcasts to Germany and paid at least three visits to Berlin in an attempt to dissuade the Nationalist junta from embarking on their insane plans for war but he failed.

With the outbreak of war in 1940, Hitler found himself a target of criticism within the Conservative Party but with the death of Chamberlain and the fall of Halifax, Churchill emerged as the new Prime Minister. Hitler joined the War Cabinet and proved a valuable asset. He ensured fair treatment for British people of German ancestry in the face of those seeking to have the whole ethnic group sent to the Isle of Man.

With peace came new challenges but the 1946 election saw Churchill defeated and while Hitler remained in Parliament, his influence waned. He was a strong voice for European reconciliation and German re-unification.

In 1950, Hitler lost Birkenhead to the Liberals. His autobiography, "My Struggle", published in 1953, was a best seller but the author did not live long to savour his final success.

In his last years, Hitler returned to his artistic roots but his health was now declining and he died on July 28th 1958.

One of the warmest tributes for this unlikely friend of Britain came from long-time political colleague Sir Winston Churchill:

"Adolf Hitler embodied all that was true and noble in the German soul yet he found his destiny and calling on our shores. He was a friend to both Britain and Germany and, above all, a friend of peace and hope"

Adolf Hitler never married.
