WWII fighter pre-comp alternative

Your humble servant with a friend played the alternative history as far back as pre-computer era. We are particularly attracted to the WWII because of tempting opportunities and accessing for learning. We called it "to arm" as the creation of armies and discussion of the possibilities we prefer the virtual battles.
Latest "arming" lasted for several years - I was able to significantly change my views on the tactics, the use and construction of the armed forces :) But we "fought" only two virtual days during which completely destroyed air force one another in the theater and stopped, of course, at the method of calculating losses :) But this most ambitious "arming" is imprinted in the memory.
The scenario was this: Russia to the beginning of the 20th century was a normal government, has left Japanese expansion in East Asia, and intrigues in the Balkans. Therefore, neither the Russian-Japanese nor the WWI and Revolution in Russia were not. And in pretense for influence in China the US was confronted not against Japan but against Russia. In 1944.
I’ played for the US. In my parents' home in box were many papers since then. And here were found are sketches of my fighters - the most interesting thing for me then. The line of my views.
At first I’ve followed to the usual for that time idea of separation the types of fighters: interceptor, frontline, escort, carrier-based, etc. Here are "design" sketches of a Bf 109 class light fighter. You can see I'm more attracted to the German technology.

This is a FW-like radial engine variant.

This is a Bearcat-like carrier-based variant.

Then the first model with the A-engine is no longer suit me because placing radiators in the wing did not satisfy the requirements of modularity. I was attracted to idea of the JuMo motor-unit. Here are sketches with a similar but improved solution.

But the early design struck me as ideologically cramped. Constructive ideal of screw fighter to me was He 100. And over time I found a solution: plate radiator on the nose paneling as the Fiat CR.32.

But I’ve not had time to admire my "ideal fighter" as my knowledge of tactics and organization to shot from quantity to a quality. At the end I became to supporter of the popular in the 1930th ideas of civil-military multipurpose aircraft. They were large and "American". Something between Thunderbolt and Skyraider with the ability to convert into a sort of Do 335.

That's doing the alternative history of the Soviet Union.
