Alternate WW1 Map thread

A better explanation for what was going on: Germany was partitioned into the Republics: The West German Republic (AKA Hanover), the East German Republic (AKA Prussia) and the South German Republic (AKA Bavaria). Prussia was supposed to give territory to Russia, but the Bolsheviks granted the land back to Prussia in exchange for clandestine support and a base in the Civil War. In the end, the Russian Civil War dragged on until the Whites finally won, compromising with the Mensheviks to turn Russia into a Constitutional Monarchy controlled in actuality by the military from behind the throne. Meanwhile, in Europe, the People's Republic of Galicia and Hanover (under the Social Democrats) formed an alliance, which then incorporated Croatia and Denmark, becoming the Central European Federation (not unlike a more centralized version of the EU). Italy, meanwhile, formed an alliance with the Kingdom of Hungary and Romania, and invaded Albania.

As more states rolled into the European Federation, reactionary politics became mainstream in Great Britain, afraid of a new Great War. The turning point came when France joined the European Federation in 1941, thus catapulting Britain into an alliance with Italy and Spain against the Euros. After a brief campaign to subdue Belgium, the campaign turned into a new meatgrinder as the Euros had to overcome the Pyrenees and the Alps and the a war of maneuver went back and forth on the Danube. Both sides began to court the Russians and the Ottomans...

And that's all I've figured out so far.

If someone can find a plausible POD after 1900 for this map, I will be shocked and amazed...
:eek:I revel in the ASBishness of the map.....

Can somebody convert this to nice looking map ?

Well I'm not sure if you'd consider it nice looking, but it covers an entire Europe and is more understanable....

Unfortunately, I didn't know wha to do with Bulgaria, Albania and the Ottomans, so I followed your policy with Germany and AH- cut them up into little pieces. If i've made some horrible mistake(likely), or you wanted titles/the map is'nt good enough for some reason, I apologise in advance.;)

Edit: Ooops.... it appears I posted an incorrect date(1923) and a colour code which came from the basemap. SORRY.

Heres my attempt with France forming a Republican Germany instead of Prussia forming an Imperial one.

I used y'alls map as a base then just added/changed a few things so it fits a TL I'm working on. Basically, western front is won by the beginning of 1915 (German victory at first Marne and taking advantage of a few things), but eastern front is purposely dragged on until 1917 by Germany and Austria-Hungary.

Denmark was neutral, loses no territory or colonies. Italy also remained neutral (this is making some fun butterflys) so it also stays the same. Germany annexes Luxembourg in west and the Polish border strip in the east, and gains mining and oil rights in northern France for 15 years. Morocco becomes independent but is now in German sphere of influence. Finland gets most of Karelia, and those islands whose name escapes me right now. Went with a United Baltic Duchy instead of leaving those states separate. I know that towards the end of the war Ludendorff said Poland would get Vilnius, and as I'm too lazy to look up where else could be a Lithuanian capitol, I thought that just uniting it with Poland would keep the poles happy and a little less likely to start fires and rebellions. Also decided to leave Moldova as Bessarabia as well as leave it independent, as the CP doesn't want to let Romania have it and gain anything from it. Exaggerated (a lot) the Mountainous Republic's borders, and we'll just say that's because with more CP control over Ukraine and whatnot even more of white army is able to get there. Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia in Ottoman sphere. Ottomans get Sinai peninsula. Austria annexes Montenegro, and after dual monarchy isn't renewed Romania and Serbia are economically tied to Hungary. You can see what Bulgaria swallowed up. I'll post my post war Africa map when it's finished!

This is my first map posted on here, so what do y'all think?
