Alternate World's Fairs

Having recently read The Devil In The White City, I've become enamored with World Fairs. My current TL, for example, includes a proto-Fascist state showing its colors through the Exposition Universelle 1889, which isn't just a throw-away gimmick, as you'll see. (The New York Columbian Exposition of 1893 will be, I'll admit)

So, if you've had ideas for alt-World's Fairs, please, post them here!

The Alaska-Columbia-Pacific Exposition of 1909, was a world's fair held in Seattle, California Empire, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Emperor Norton I's purchase of the Alaska from the Russia and the 10th anniversary of the admission of the former British Columbia into the California Empire.

The Nicaraguan-California Exposition of 1915, was a world's fair held in San Francisco, The California Empire, to celebrate the completion of the Nicaraguan Canal.
