Alternate world Propaganda

Here is the flag of France

The Symbol in the middle is the French "Swastika", informally known as the Iron Shield (working name)

It's an axe so maybe Iron Axe ("hache de fer") instead ?

And why simply reuse the flag of the PPF ? I'm sure you or someone else could come up with something different since the party in question is not that.

the term First Citoyen, (First Citizen), means the same thing as the German word "Fuhrer" in this instance of describing the leader of France

"First" isn't a French word, the translation would be: "Premier Citoyen".

it's Nasi with a S ITTL, not a Z.

In OTL, "nazi" was the german pronounciation of the first 2 syllables of NATIonalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, is Nasi an acronym of something ? If the party name is something similar, it would probably be "nassi" instead to stay closer to the French pronounciation.

the SS is still the SS.

"Service de Sécurité" ?

The blue axe is known as a "Francisque", it was used by Vichy State. The octagon doesn't represent France while the hexagon refers to the European mainland of France.

The term "First Citoyen" is not french, "Premier Citoyen" would be better. But you could use also the term "Chef du Peuple Français" which is inspired by the title of the Belgian Nazi Léon Degrelle "Chef du Peuple Wallon", or the term "Guide" which is the exact translation of "Führer".

Random French guy,

That's true, Iron Axe it is then.

I was told the Icon was of a Canadian Fascist Party, through I never bothered to look it up, through I see that you are right, through I kinda like it for Fascist France anyway

This I obviously know, First Citoyen is the half English translation commonly used.

Yes, Nasi is a acronym of Nationalsocialiste Français Travailleurspartie.

"Service de Sécurité" ?

Correct.

Random French guy,

I didn't use the Vichy Axe because it seemed cliché. I wanted to use something different which lead me to the flag of PPF apparently (through I was told the icon was from a Canadian fascist party)

I already covered the fact First Citoyen is not French in my above post, it's the English way of half-translating it, and it caught on. I suppose I could've used ethier of those, but I liked First Citoyen.

Guys,guys.
I'm going to make a Alt.world propaganda poster for my TL.

Now,the problem is..
The Propaganda is from a German Republic(A'la France) nation, led by a Soc-lib goebbels, which is aimed towards the British Fascists(Thunderists)..
I'm kinda confused on what symbols,or imageries I should use..

It's supposed to be a rip off of the Nazi's so the party name is nearly the exact same. :p
Yes, but French isn't German, so you don't get three words slammed together into one word. So "Nationalsocialiste Français Travailleurspartie"would be like calling an English party Nationalsocialiste English Workersparty. Only worse because English is a germanic language and uses a word order more similar to German, but the lack of spaces between separate words is still a clear issues. Also it's more likely that the Premiere Citoyen would just get called the Premier rather than First Citoyen.

But the English translation is still anyway supposed to be the National Socialist French Worker's Party ethier way.

It's my TL, I wanted to call him the First Citoyen (Premiere Citoyen in French), that's simple as that.

If you want very anti brit' propaganda as inspiration, you can use the Vichy France Propaganda:

I don't know why whatever you're using is translating nonsense words. Travailluerspartie is the same thing as Workersparty, not Worker's Party. Nationalsocialiste is Nationalsocialist, not National Socialist. Also the order is still all awkward, like calling it the Party of National Socialist Worker's of England or something.

Maybe there nonsense for French, ugh, my knowledge of French grammar and phrasing isen't the greatest, the party in English is the National Socialist French Worker's Party, and that is the rough French translation I was able to get.

Maybe just use the English translation then. Since I assume the timeline will be written in English anyway, it won't look like the text is randomly peppered with foreign words like some authors appear to be fond of.

In any case, us francophones will be more then happy to translate those bit for you.

True, I occasionally stuck more foreign terms in there when need be, like when translating the name for the French version of the MP40, STG or Panzerschrek when needed to describe such things in the TL. but that's true.

That is what I get for being a Germanophile. :p

and on the SS, I actually went through about 6 different names on that before I settled on Service de Sécurité because I wanted to keep the SS acronym. :p

Some of the SPD/eiserne front/reichsbanner shwartz-rot-geld propaganda poster could work well with just a little editing, this one for example would probably just need to change the logos to a british crown, lightning and lion and anti-British text to work.

Like my francophone mate, i suggest you a propaganda poster from the French Fron Populaire which says "Popular Front against poverty, war and fascism, for bread, peace and freedom".

If you translate it to german and edit some pictures (like putting the ciricle and flash at the center, and a picture of Mosley for fascism), you can make a nice anti-thunderist propaganda. ;)

EDIT: Their is also some nice KPD propaganda poster which can be edited. ;)

This is an Propaganda poster that I made a couple months ago as kind of Fan Art for some Third Rome stuff that xt828 did in I believe a Flag Competition. It features St. Alexander Nevsky and reads (roughly) "The Third Rome Movement: Patriots and Defenders of our Holy Motherland". I thought some of you might like it, but it is amateur work :p

What do the uniforms look like for Nazi France?
