Looking back, I really liked making my populist party survives series (aka the generically named Peoples America): But it had a lot of moments where I think I could have done better. So I'll ask here, should I just continue it as is, or start over from the 1892 elections and make them better?

I've basically decided to put my Yugo-wank idea to the side (mainly because this is easier and I don't think I could a way to do it good).
One thing I thought you should have done is make the Socialists more prominent. After all, the Democrats' main base in the North were the working class, and with the Populists tied to agrarian issues, they would have a difficult time convincing the industrial working class to vote Populist.
You did have them make an appearance, but they quickly fizzed out, which I didn't think was realistic.

I did plan for them to make a comeback in a few elections (after some different economic times), and as part of a Popular Front style party. Populists as Agrarian interests, Economic Reform (temp name) as the urban interests. I imagine there are some socialists/social democrats in the Northern Populists that run mostly for the support a bigger party organization provides.

The Ionian Mutiny was the largest and most sustained armed insurgency against U.S. control since the Acidalian Revolution in the 2020s. Fought largely by rebel Minutemen sepoys, the Ionian Mutiny was a brutal, bloody affair. Human Ionians had long-chaffed under American rule, particular those from their two main religious groups: Hurbanezzerites and Kudirians. The Mutiny was lead by a trio of junior military officers--Warad Drill, Mulkishar Black and Harbuzzam Franklin--who'd been planning the rebellion since the mid-2110s. Nearly two-thirds of all sepoy units rose in May 2124 against the American governments. The Amasher, a long-persecuted religious minority, sided with the Americans, as did the xtlil aborigines. The rebellion lasted for nearly two years before it was finally put down and after hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths.
The suppression of the Ionian Mutiny was particularly brutal, with total civil deaths being estimated in the millions. Both sides used gas extensively during the conflict and participated in massacres of non-combatant civilians. A series of concentration camps operated by the Minutemen Special Missions Group and Major General Ayase Lindelof were responsible for the deaths of more than 300,000 Hurbanezzerites and Kudirians. Amasher, xtlil and Doughboy death squads operated freely in rebel territory. The UN International Criminal Court considered criminal actions against many involved, though so far, no indictments or arrest warrants have been issued and no American has been publicly disciplened for their part. While government scientists working for the Soviet Union and the United Arab Republics detected short bursts of high-levels of radiation, the U.S. government denied used of nuclear weapons despite General Melissa Kenney's (commanding officer of IOCOM Air Services) public insistence for their use.

Because of the Mutiny, the U.S. Congress passed the Io Citizenship Readjustment Act and the Io First Nations Reserve Act in 2131. All xtlil First Nations reserves were abolished and all xtlil were granted U.S. citizenship, while most Ionians had their citizenship stripped. Loyalist paramilitary death squads continued to operate until the late 2130s on the frontier carrying out hits against prominent Ionian leaders.

I'd say keep at it. I love me some Populist-victory TLs. I'd say learn how to add election maps inline with the infobox (there's been a few tutorials in this thread previously), and maybe some sort of rump Democratic Party in the South that kind of holds on vaguely for a while before slowly fading away.

On another but still AJND related subject, I've noticed that, asides from Seabreeze, Dacia operates by Ye Olde Two-Party System, whereas Xanadu is multi-party. How come?
Stability and volatility. Dacia is a relatively stable commonwealth with a stable, but growing population. Xanadu, on the other hand, has a very volatile and rapidly growing and shifting population beset by a whole bunch of divisive political and social issues. That and the Two Party Illuminati hasn't had time to control everything.
