Does Driving on the left apply to the entire empire? Must make the US/Canadian border *very* interesting...

Note, as best as I can tell, the border crossing with a switch iOTL that would have seen the most traffic (relative to other places at the same time) probably was the German(Right)/Czechoslovak(Left) border before WWII *or* Hong Kong/China...

Was Canada driving on the Right or the Left prior to the POD?

In Canada, it was a province-by-province thing until it was standardized to be the right-side around World War 2. I'm actually not sure which side Canada would drive on in TTL, since there would be advantages to both. I'd tend more towards the left due to uniformity with the rest of the Empire.

From the 2016 TL linked in my sig:

So, the United States of Greater Austria. After the near-disaster that was the Austria-Hungarian Empire, Emperor Franz Ferdinand led the way towards a federalized Danubian Empire (as it's sometimes known) after World War I. Thinks were rough at first (especially since the Hungarians weren't too big of fans of federalization since they'd lose power), but with a rapidly growing economy (Austria benefited greatly from the German Mitteleuropa) and relative stability helped things along. Under Franz Ferdinand and his successor Otto, Austria became a constitutional monarchy and a great European power (though not a superpower). Germany and Austria have remained close allies politically, militarily and economically, with Austria as the second-most powerful nation in the Mitteleuropa Pact and an important member of the United Nations and the Big 10.

Despite that, things aren't entirely perfect for Austria. The rise of ethnic nationalism has been particularly worrisome for Vienna--especially right-wing Austrian nationalism. German Austrians have become disillusioned with the United States of Greater Austria since they believe that they lost a great deal of their power and have become disenfranchised by other nationalities in Austria--their political disposition is not dissimilar to that of white Britons in the United Kingdom. There's been a sudden rise in terrorism by other ethnic minorities--in particular, Slavic nationalists--who believe that Austrian colonial settlement plans are simply a way to ship more non-Germans out of Austria so that Germans can take their land. Many offworld colonial settlements are sharply divided along ethnic lines. The rise of French-backed communism and American-backed corporatism and democratic fascism are also worrisome--though mostly to the German government in Berlin and the Mitteleuropa commissioners in Krakau who are worried what the loss of Austria would do to the Mitteleuropan economic system.

"The United States of Greater Austria", starring Sean Connery as Emperor Otto von Hapsburg!

But all joking aside, great infoboxes, though Italian not being a recognised regional language is a bit weird.
