An ASB decides to play around with the 2012 US election, allowing young versions of dead and living people to run. For added fun, he revives Lenin, gives him American nationality and makes him a Senator for Alaska. He then promptly turns Sarah Palin into a Leninist. He also turns the "35+ rule" to slag.

Conservatives are shocked to find that Ronny Raygun finds their conservatism rather deplorable...

If someone wants to make an electoral map of this headache, you are more than welcome to do so. :p

EOI-verse: Quebec Premier Louise Rouen, the first ministers' club newest member, is a seasoned executive, widely respected and a tenacious political infighter. A nationalist conservative, Quebec's first female premier has promised rightward turns and further expansion of the province's international ties. For those wondering about Bois-de-Coulonge... yes, it exists ITTL. But not for the LG.

New Brunswick's Liberal Premier Hector Beauregard is a bland moderate, liked and respected but a minor player on the first ministers' stage. First elected in 2011, his main policy interest is education.

There were briefly rumours that Fredrik Reinfeldt was considered for that position after he so abruptly resigned the other week. Of course, they probably weren't serious.

A Reagan-TR ticket would be interesting.

Honestly, it's George Washington. Of course they would. Plus there'd be enough vote splitting that he'd gain support across all ideologies and groups to just barely put him over the top.

He could run on a character counts campaign too. He was a man who did not "seek" power, had it almost thrust upon him, and left it behind to return home. That alone is reason enough to vote for him. Anybody who doesn't really want the job is perfect for it.
