But I can say one thing right now: kibbutzes in the Catskills.
That'd be something worth seeing.
But I can say one thing right now: kibbutzes in the Catskills.
It's coming to a close?
I think you did it very well and you should continue it as long as possible.
True North is back! 1991 is here, and it brings with it chaos, as the new Bloc sweeps Quebec and people wonder if Canadian politics will ever be simple again.
Since the Lodge Bill TL is coming to a close I wanted to gather some statistics to take note for my next project:
1.) How many people actually look (or are subscribed to) my wikibox thread? I'm always wondering if people spoil the story for themselves by looking at that first.
2.) How to do you think I've handled the political shake-up following the eponymous Lodge Bill, as well as the various political changes (party switchers, rise of Socialists and Prohibitionists, America staying isolationist longer, etc.)
3.) Any people you want to know about in-universe?
1. I'm content to wait like the 2 minutes it takes to upload here
2. Fantastic fuckery all around, Absolutely gorgeous.
3. Huey Long. I don't think you've mentioned him. And George Norris.
I'm surprised there've been a total lack of a sovereignist party in your TL.
CT, what do you think of True North's 1991 election? Bottom of last page.
Plus, Pauline Picard is quite underused for sovereigntist leaders in ATLs. I wonder why.
I thought it looked marvelous. You really have a lot more patience at making them than I do
Ya just can't let the Tories have majority, can you?
In all seriousness, I love Bachand, no one has ever used him in a TL before and it's about high time someone did. Excellent result, although I'm still holding out hope that if Bachand wins similarly as Harper did OTL, than a majority should be within his grasp next election.
By the way, I've done a premiers list for Bracken over Socialism, and was wondering how I should post it. Should I go for the Alternate PMs/Presidents thread, or make it a separate series following the conclusion of the general election series?
Meet Francisco Gloeckner, known for leading the Federal Republic of Central America through a bloody civil war against the communist guerrilas with an iron fist. Not particularly a pleasant guy.
I've got no clue why, but I have this awful feeling that he pulled a Efraín Ríos Montt and committed genocide against the Maya.Awesome infoboxes Rascallite, Francisco Gloeckner sounds like a brutal tyrant.
