"America had woken from her nightmare and found herself paralyzed by war" - the Spider King: The Biography of Peter Parker. Vol 2: The War Years.

If Douglas MacArthur was America's Julius Ceasar than Steve Rogers was its Augustus... - The 3rd War: A Narrative

Yeah, I think I'm gonna a make fic based on this infobox.

Edit: I have a lot of this timeline in my head so feel free to ask questions about it

Interesting. Would I be right in assuming the Communists will probably have to do something like the Vatican treaties? Handing off the Vatican area would buy some brownie points and it gets a potential secondary source of loyalty out of the country without the hell kicking the Pope out would cause.
Indeed. As it was many Italian communists were Christian communists so they will leave the Vatican intact. Earns brownie points in the still very religious Europe as well

The German Civil War took place after the collapse of the German war machine and war making capacity during World War I which led to the capitulation of the German Empire to the Western Allies after the failed New Years Offensive. Taken off-guard by Austria's peace, the Germans were dangerously isolated and the New Years Offensive was their final bid to win the war, however with Portuguese, French and British troops standing in the way, the offensive stalled, failed and was driven back, eventually breaking the Hindenburg Line itself. The Armistice of Bastogne was signed which ended hostilities but not the war itself. Meanwhile within Germany the capitulation was seen as a failure of the monarchy by many and the communists and republicans arose against the monarchy en masse. The Socialist Republic of Germany was proclaimed in Munich after the local freikorps commander of the city, a man sympathetic to the communists, allowed them to take power in the city, and most of bavaria fell under their rule. The Bavarian Royal Family commanded an army of around 25,000 men comprised of Bavarian loyalists and royalists against the communist regime.

In Hamburg, Ebert proclaimed the short-lived Weimar Republic which controlled the hamburg region and Upper Lowe Saxony. The rest of the country fell under the rule of the German monarchies. Kaiser Wilhelm II refused to allow talk of more democratic reforms and changes in the empire and refused to let the country out of his personal rule. The worried and desperate loyalist government in berlin turned to Prince Wilhelm, who recognized the dire state of the situation and agreed to become a full constitutional monarch along British and Scandinavian lines. The 1918 October Coup was carried out by the German parliament and the rest of the Hohenzollerns led by Prince Wilhelm and an ultimatum was carried out to Wilhelm II. Wilhelm II caught in a bind that he could not escape from finally agreed and abdicated the throne in favor of his son. Prince Wilhelm was crowned Kaiser Wilhelm III of Germany in Berlin in a hurried affair.

Among the communists, Rosa Luxembourg was amenable to try and find peace with the loyalist government under Wilhelm III as the country was transforming into a true democratic and constitutional monarchy, however due to pressure from Pieck and Muller as well as Levine, Luxembourg continued to persecute their war. In Hamburg, Ebert refused the change of royalty and decreed royalty a matter of the past. Battles took place throughout Germany as the allied powers watched on warily. France, Britain and the USA ironically sent support to the German Empire to fight against the communists and using these equipment, the new German Empire reached Munich on May 12th, 1919 and declared the Socialist Republic of Germany null and void and the communist members were all gathered up, tried and found guilty of treason and sentenced to life in prison. Wilhelm III did not wish to give his opponents martyrs. The Republicans in the north were then crushed in systematic battles, and the Weimar Republic was crushed in Operation North and peace was restored to Germany (tentatively) once again.

Troubles until 1933? Well I guess it might not end up being you know who but Germany is clearly not much better off ITTL than it was OTL.

From a timeline idea I've had for awhile: Essentially, Biden allows the other two women to testify during the Anita Hill/Clarence Thomas hearings. When they do, enough senators flip to deny Thomas a nomination. This launches a smaller version of the #MeToo movement with other women - believing they'll be believed - coming forward to share their stories, etc. Two fallouts ensue: the implosion of Clinton's 1992 campaign and Ted Kennedy, focused on the hearings and the necessary follow up hearings for Bush's next nominee, forgets about a date he has with Vickie Kennedy. Vickie ends their relationship - then at the very early stages. Between not having Vickie and the increased attention on inappropriate sexual relationships, Kennedy loses the 1994 Senate race to Mitt Romney, who becomes a sort of savior figure within the GOP for defeating Kennedy. He rides this momentum to defeat George W. Bush for the 2000 Republican nomination. Bush has his chance in 2008, but by then he's forced to face JFK Jr, the two-term Governor of NY.

I assume Bush or Perot wins in 1992, but who wins in 1996 in TTL?

The Marshal-Regnant of Portugal is a position roughly analogous to the Governor-General of Canada, or Governor-General of Timor in the Portuguese Commonwealth. As the King of Portugal resides in Rio de Janeiro in his capacity as King of Brazil, a representative is needed in Portugal. In recognition of Portugal’s precedence in the United Kingdom, a precedence that also places Lisbon first in the order of coronations, this representative is given the title Marshal-Regnant, a title that unofficially dates back to the rule of William Beresford but was formally created for the future Pedro IV & I when he was sent to resolve the Liberal Crisis in the 1820s. The Marshal-Regnant is also given the title “Duke of Estremadura”. The role is, like the Monarchy in Brazil, strictly ceremonial.

Traditionally the title is held until either the Marshal-Regnant dies or retires, or the monarch who appointed them does so. Usually the title is given to an Uncle or Younger Son of the Monarch. Exceptions include 1927-1945 when there were no suitable royal candidates and so the well respected Duke of Bahia was dispatched, and from 1959-1963 when former Portuguese Prime Minister Joaquim Barbosa was awarded the title for his exemplary leadership during the Global War. In 1983 the Portuguese Prime Minister was formally given veto power over the appointment. This right was first exercised in 2008. King Paulo’s Second Son Miguel was nominated, but his involvement in the RioBank Scandal and perceived habit of meddling in Government led to the Portuguese cabinet to reject him. Eventually the King’s Aunt, Maria, was selected as a compromise. Maria is the first Woman to serve as Regnant-Marshal.
Nice concept. :)
A small nitpick, Extremadura is too large a geographical area to be a simple Dukedom in Portuguese tradition. I suggest something more like Prince/Princess of Estremadura (Príncipe/Princesa da Estremadura).

Including a writeup as this will be the last box of "The Stupendous Spider-Woman" I will be making.

The main point of this series was to have someone taking on the "Spider-Man" moniker was for said individual to actually grow up. I am a big fan of the recently released (late 2019) limited comic book series "Spider-Man: Life Story." Seeing Peter Parker grow up real-time struck a cord with me as seeing a superhero actually age was something rarely done in comics. Especially with regards to Spider-Man as he's never gotten pass college and seems to be in a perpetual limbo with spacetime. Kathryn Buckley's Spider-Woman follows this very format with the titular character aging as the series progresses. You can use this table below to get an idea Kathryn Buckley's age throughout the series. She was born on March 22, 1987 if you wanna know the exact year these events took place.

Rhythm and Greens: 17 years old
Kingpin and Needles: 18 years old
Secret Wars and Red Heat: 25-26 years old
Cross of Silver: 29 years old
Maximum Carnage: 33 years old
U.S.Avengers vs. X-Men: 38 years old
World War Carnage: 51 years old

One of the major themes of the series is self-worth as Kathryn Buckley struggles to see the meaning in fighting a constantly losing battle as a superhero. Kathryn became Spider-Woman because the infamous burglar that escaped killed her maternal grandfather, Bill Newman , and tries to live by his word: "Whoever saves just one life saves the world." As she gets older, Kathryn continues to struggle with her self-worth what with the constant bombardment of negative media and supervillains. The irony of this all is that her self-worth issues come from a self-imposed isolation from her friends and family. This feeling of loneliness leads into the events of Cross of Silver, when a chance encounter with a clone created by this world's Miles Warren leads Kathryn to fabricate lab results making it seems like she's the clone whereas the actual clone, going by Wilma Newman, is the original. Retreating to a log cabin in upstate New York, Wilma is eventually killed by Silvermane and Crossbones forcing Kathryn's return and the truth to be revealed. While I have yet to workout the details of "Cross of Silver," the end result is Kathryn abandoning her nihilistic beliefs and allowing herself to be happy, marrying her childhood friend and crush Abigail Nyugen and starting a family.

I'll continue this later. Time to catchup on some z's.
