It was the pedigree of Andrew Wiggins, who was a player in the "Negro Basketball Association", with language appropriate to a society where slaves are bred like horses to compete in top-level sports.
Sounds like something 4chan would love.

You've been here for 11 years and haven't realized that posts that are so edgy you can shave with them tend to result in a response?I think this is a bad move. Yes, the wikibox was a lot towards the edge of what's okay. As it turns out, so was chattel slavery. Punishing a user by removing their content because it was too effective at making you feel horror at the effects of slavery seems a little absurd to me.
I've been here for eleven years and I've done slave sports wikiboxes without a single bit of flamewar in response to it. I'm disappointed you think so little of this community. You've been here for 11 years and haven't realized that posts that are so edgy you can shave with them tend to result in a response?
I removed the content because it was utterly appalling and virtually certain to result in a flame war. Hell, I'm sort of shocked one didn't break out as soon as the post was made.

Don't be disingenuous. Yes, I've done something similar, and yes, that lends me a different perspective on the situation than most people. It doesn't make my points less valid than if they'd been said by anyone else.Interesting.
At least now I understand why you are objecting.
Because we can actually be civil over "offensive" material when it's set as an alternate reality instead of immediately throwing stones at the topic.Hell, I'm sort of shocked one didn't break out as soon as the post was made.
Well, for what it's worth I thought it was perfectly disgusting. You hit the nail on its head on that one. Great job!OK, so for those who are wondering what my infobox was, it was basically imagining what black basketball would look like if slavery still existed, and slave players were treated akin to racehorses. The infobox specifically referred to the "pedigree" of the player, like how people track the pedigree of racehorses and breed them accordingly. The accompanying write up for the post used a variety of derogatory and dehumanizing language towards the subject and his family members, as the description was written to reflect this extremely messed up world. The point of this infobox was to try to use a relatively unused template convey an extremely disturbing world, showing the horrors of slavery and the potential of what could have happened if it were allowed to continue.
I understand that the language and concepts presented were jarring and edgy. I knew before posting that this was right on the edge of decorum and I get why the moderators would see it best to remove the post. While I might be slightly disappointing that work of mine was taken down from the site, if the mods deem it too flamebaity to stay up, I understand why it was removed.

I've done slave sports wikiboxes
I'm glad you've left the shadow cabinet positions list collapsed, I'm not sure how much more of this guy I could handle.
The Earl of Falls Church!
If the history of the British Empire in the first quarter of the 21st century is to be defined by any two men, it would be P.G. Sudhakaran and the Marquess of Lynedoch. Lynedoch is the current leader of the Conservative Coalition, having held that position since 2012, while Sudhakaran was his Liberal adversary from 1997 until his death in 2024. Sudhakaran lead the Liberals through 6 elections, winning majorities in 2000 and 2011, and leading them to hung Parliaments in 2005, 2016, 2017 and 2022. The rivalry between the two men energized voting bases and local party groups. The leaders' debates between the two were must-watch television for years. Both men were able to hang on to power for so long despite their lackluster electoral records because they exploded the Empire's inherent patronage system to create networks of loyal clients in important posts. The Liberal-Tory duopoly was threatened for years by the All People's National Congress, a populist, anti-establishment party that was a powerful third force in politics for many years, exacting concessions and promises from Liberals and Tories alike. Sudhakaran was never able to find the key to defeating the Congress, and it took Lynedoch until 2025 to devise a political platform and get out the vote machine that broke the Congress's back in Africa, thus achieving the first Tory majority in Parliament since 1995, giving him free reign to enact the paternalistic conservative reforms he's always wanted.
