Nice try. But Hong Kongers simply don't use Chinese pinyin. We use Cantonese to pronounce and romanise our names. For example, my surname is 郭, and it should be "Guo" using Chinese pinyin. But on my birth certificate, HK ID Card and British passport, it would become "Kwok" - which is exactly how 郭 is pronounced in Cantonese.
With the PRC devastated by the Dactyl Rot, the democrats of Hong Kong made their move. Months of pro-referendum protest surged through the summer of 2040, demanding an independence referendum be presented to the city. With dissolution of the communist party and the beginning of controlled decommunization, the interim administration simply had too much on their hands to bring Hong Kong back in line. In lat 2040, talks between the interim government, pro-democracy leaders in Hong Kong and the Taiwanese government led to a compromise. Both Taiwan and Hong Kong would be free to hold independence referendums, which the PRC would properly recognize. Both referendums passed with flying colors the next year.
While this would end the "mainland problem" for quite a while, it was not too long before the PRC began to exert its influence over its former territories. The signing of the Pan-Chinese Transit Agreement was the first step. Agreed to in 2046, it cleared up the situation for PRC and Hong Kong citizens living abroad, and allowed for easier movement between the three countries. The 2049 Goods Inspection Treaty would be next. Designed to formalize anti-Dactyl Rot quarantine and handling procedures, it also limited tariffs between the countries and served as a framework for future agreements. With agreement after agreement, bringing the countries closer together, many Hong Kong citizens became concerned. There was the fear that if this path was not halted, that the city would once again be subservient to the PRC in all but name.
The Hong Kong localist/nativist movement had predated the independence referendum for quite sometime. While they had remained a minor force in Hong Kong politics, with some of the larger groups merging in 2031, the fears of PRC dominion began to increase their support. Having undergone some rebranding, the new natvist party of Above All portrayed itself as the umbrella revolution. For the nativists, Hong Kong could only be free when it asserted its culture and forced agreements on its own terms. In the '50s, Above All joined the growing Asian municipalist movement. The nativists had long been committed to traditionalism and direct democracy, and the participism of the Muncipalists was only an intensified version of their ideology. While the party is popular among the public, their poor results in the industry-elected functional constituencies have limited their ability to take power. Thus, Above All is also at the heart of the anti-functionalist movement, which they see as a way to bring actual democracy to Hong Kong.
*is disappointed you still don't have porn up in one of the tabs*Another TL-191 World Cup. I ended up unable to get the TL-191 Germany, Austria-Hungary or Ottoman flags to appear in the infobox and group stage tables, so there are a few continuity errors.

You called? And here's a backstory, because a wikibox to me is a bit pants without a story to go with it.
No.Does anyone remember that one wikibox (or series of wikiboxes) where Donald Trump ran as a Democrat in 2016 after Mitt Romney was elected in 2008? I remember it had an alternate campaign announcement that railed against cops instead of Mexicans.

Yeah, under that system it's possible to lose with this map:Majority of states needed to win? That's taking literally all the issues with the Electoral College and amplifying them, except I guess that you save a bit of money by not having actual electors that have to meet in all the state capitals.
