I honestly can't praise this new wave of Our Father's Stars wikiboxes enough. You've managed to paint a powerful picture of 2068 America's sociopolitical scene through iconography. Well done, machinekng.

Thanks for the comment!

I'll admit, sometimes I get discouraged when making OFS posts. They always have good reception, but I trouble telling if they're well received because I'm maintaining high quality, or because OFS is so entrenched that I could literally post a rectangle and get at least a dozen likes.

Putin unifies Earth?
But when he does, he's also very hungry, so the New Territories are all named after deli meats. I myself am typing from the United Salami of America Federal District.

Well now you've put me in a difficult position. I want to like the rectangle because it's meta humor, but I also don't because it might demoralize you.

...I liked it better when I just saw the pretty party logos, cooed, and clicked like.

The Navajo Republic (Navajo: Naabeehó Bikéyah), commonly referred to as Dinetah, is a federal subject (a republic) of the American Federation.

It is located in the Southwestern United States. The capital of the republic is the city of Window Rock. As of the 2010 census, the republic was reported to have a population of 967,218 people; however, that number has been questioned by multiple demographers, who think such population growth after two deadly wars is highly implausible.

After the dissolution of the United States of America in 1989, the Hopi Reservation and the Navajo Nation were transformed into the Hopi Republic and the Navajo Republic. The latter proclaimed the Navajo People's Republic of Dinetah, which sought independence. Following the Second Navajo War with the American Federation, Dinetah gained de facto independence as the Navajo People's Republic of Dinetah. American federal control was restored during the Third Navajo War. Since then there has been a systematic reconstruction and rebuilding process, though sporadic fighting continues in the southern regions of the republic.

Pluto, the biggest of the dwarf planets, has been a British dominion since the 2154 Lovingstone Council ensured an agreement between the native Plutoids [hypothesised to have been created in the Apocalypse since no evidence of them appears before it. Native Plutoids dismiss this argument as humanocentrism and cites their own sources showing they were around for millennia] and the human settlers, demographically roughly equal.

For such a bispeciesal country with a history of tension between the natives and the settlers, it was inevitable that its politics would develop in a polarised way. The main organization for Native Plutoid liberation, the Plutoid National Congress [the official English translation. The Common-Plutoid name roughly means "coming-together"] was the biggest party in the first election.

Working out a new cross-community government with the two biggest moderate Human parties, the Labour Party and Imperial Alliance over condemnations from its hardline splitter One Pluto, the PNC led Pluto into a new age of bispeciesal co-operation. The merger of the left-wing Labour and centre-left Imperial Alliance into the Imperial Labour Party meant that the PNC lost its first-place standing in the election of 2160, but due to the "two consuls" system, it didn't really matter.

Disaffection in the 2165 and 2170 elections led to One Pluto and the Stellar Tories (the hardline British imperialists) gaining. Pluto has always had plenty of religious people, and the weak National Party of Pluto decided to merge with the Fewfuh League and minor religious parties to form the United Party, Pluto's first, and so far only, major cross-community party. In the 2175 election, United did very well, winning 10 seats when before, they collectively had 3.

The 2180 election was noted for the unusually-high tensions between the ILP and PNC, with Taylor Jenkins, the ILP's new leader, being the granddaughter of Melody Jenkins, "the Butcher of Bofiqio", the general who executed over two hundred native Plutoids for allegedly rebelling against the British crown. She emphasised that she was not her grandmother, but her family alone created tensions and led to the ILP falling in support.

The Plutoid National Congress themselves were doing mildly well, and some entertained dreams of jumping back into first place [which let me remind you, meant nothing], but as the campaign went on, United surged, which led Fuprusi [Native Plutoid names work like this ["Surname"-"first" name, then "middle", prestigious, name] but you never say "Fuprusi-uhtu", that's an insult] to campaign to his base, hoping for turnout to compensate for moderates defecting.

Jenkins campaigned like a moderate, but unfortunately her surname [a rather uncommon one on Pluto, surprisingly] proved too much and moderates switched to United, and as United surged, the PNC started to lag behind as well as United's increased prominence led to defections. The two hardline parties fell behind as unusually-high tensions led Humans and Native Plutoids to vote for "the party that can win".

upload_2017-3-12_11-45-44.png

In the end, Jenkins got off lucky, as she kept first place in votes [much to the PNC's disappointment] as she picked up enough hardline voters from the Stellar Tories to mostly compensate for losses to United, and the PNC could say they "won" the election by tying with the ILP in seats. But everybody knew there was only one real winner from this, the United Party. Donnelly and Uegyu declared the election to be a "major victory" for the party and for cross-community relations as "out of tension created by the two big parties, came the tumbling-down of the extremists and the growth of our bispeciesal movement!".

The pro-Agreement coalition between the ILP, PNC and UP continued, confirming Jenkins and Fuprusi in for a new term as Consuls.

Huh. I thought the Plutonians looked like this?

This reminds me of a P4E scenario that had all Star Wars characters as candidates... except for the Libertarians who had Bob Barr still. I still want to see him appear in the next Star Wars film.

I made a Star Wars KoTOR/Sith Scenario. Why? I dunno.

"Fly, fly, fly."
- The supposed last words of David Cameron.

The mysteries of David Cameron can be traced back to his time at the prestigious Eton College, where he was doing Politics as a degree just as the capitalist American system was coming undone. He engaged himself in politics and engaged in all the facilities, perhaps in another world he could have stayed and drifted towards the Tory party, as had been his indication from around that time period. However, an expulsion due to a misplaced bit of cannabis and a crackdown on dissidence on the part of Airey Neave's National Government led him to drift far away from the conservative ideology of his companions. Instead, he would go on to work in the London School of Economics, where he made contact with many within the Liberal party, who offered a compromise between the Footite socialism of Labour and the hard-security apparatus of Neave and later Brittain. While he did not support the formation of a Popular Front against the Anti-Soviet National Government in 1990, he was not opposed to it, realising that some reform was needed in order to face the new Soviet-dominated reality. He worked briefly as a barrister before leaving that occupation to join the office of Foreign Secretary Paddy Ashdown as a Special Adviser. Cameron was noted for his more interventionist outlook, notably showing support for invading Iraq (but not as a coalition with the Soviets) in 1992. Ashdown would foster relations with Iran and attempt to steer them away from the Soviets and instead point them in a European direction, something Cameron involved himself by taking numerous trips to Tehran. When long-serving Liberal MP David Penhaligon announced his retirement to become a UN Ambassador, the local party was initially willing to go with his cousin Susan, but Ashdown was able to muscle Cameron into the selection contest. He won the seat in a traditionally anti-Liberal environment, and would remain a backbench MP for three years. Over that time, he came into accordance with what political theorist David Laws labelled 'Muscular Liberalism' and evolved a belief in a mix of free market economics and state intervention. It was a stark contrast to his ex-Tory party, which was embarking on a radical path based entirely on opposition to trading with the Soviets which led to two straight GE defeats.

Cameron would eventually find his way into a position of importance (or 'importance') when he was appointed spokesman for Health, where he pioneered the idea of 5 Year Hospital Plans with some premiums mixed in for minor operations. He soldiered on, seriously impressing with witty diatribes in the Commons and in the press. He was then moved to Defence, where he agitated for a greater relationship with the Arabic nations such as Iran, which was already a comfortable UK ally in relation to oil. He served in this position during a precarious few years, in which Harriet Harman's government led a coalition to invade the resurgent Argentinian junta after attempting to take the Falklands, and only securing a stalemate in that task. Cameron called it a disgrace but remained silent when the Soviets stepped in to preserve British interests in an act of goodwill. Harman's government was turfed out by the slick adman Tim Bell, who would moderate the Tory party on everything bar economics. Cameron lent support to the legalisation of gay marriage in 2010, as well as the liberalisation of education programs in 2011. He would be sacked in late 2009, but restored soon after when David Mundell took over from Qurban Hussain. The Liberals performed far better on average than they were expected to, taking 38 seats and forming a government with the Conservatives (something Cameron supported in spite of his past). Cameron fostered a fantastic relationship with Bell, becoming one of his most trusted friends. This saw him being promoted from the Finance Department to Housing and Development as his other party allies got sidelined. He faced criticism from People Before Profit MSP Nicola Sturgeon when he announced a rollback in housing funding for building projects in Glasgow, and was picketed when he visited Easterhouse to debate the matter.

The night before Halloween would be a normal one for the most part until Cameron's wife Stephanie Flanders reported that he did not arrive home. Officers scoured London on Halloween to find the missing Cameron, in an operation that bore no fruit until a group of skinny dippers reported a body floating in the Thames. Flanders quickly ID'ed it as the body of her husband. Bell declared a day of mourning, the nation remained silent upon the supposed passing of one of a respectable cabinet-man, and a solemn by election was held in which Liberal up and comer Mark Clarke won in a landslide despite nationwide doldrums for the party.

It was in 2014 that reports surfaced of Cameron's contact with the KGB during the 80's. According to them, he had been recruited into the Russian Secret Police and had been in effect serving as a spy for up to thirty years. Flanders and Bell denied it strenuously, but a former KGB officer (imprisoned in Saint Petersburg, with his name rescinded for identity protection upon threat of poisoning) came full out and stated that the rumours were true, and that Cameron had indeed much to do with the KGB. It was even suggested that he was responsible for the Soviet settlement of the Falklands crisis. When the body was searched again, coroners found that it was actually a convincing double, something that had not arisen during the original investigation. Today, 'Cameron spotters' exist everywhere, and some allege that he's been found in numerous locations across the globe under the fake name 'Dmitri Podkorny'. There's even a belief that he was captured by aliens looking to research human activity. However, it is most likely that his true fate or the true extent of his actions will never be revealed. The Russian government still denies reports of Cameron being an agent, but then again, they would say that, wouldn't they?

YOU MAKE YOUR OWN BACKSTORY FOR THIS, NO SERIOUS BACKSTORIES ALLOWED.
World Communist Republic established which subdivides into countries, explaining the whole Russia part, which administrate larger areas, and subdivisions reflecting the old countries, explaining the Italy part.

Communist Party wins 1948 elections and enter in the Soviet sphere. Stalin doesn't die, Togliatti is killed, civil war and Red Army intervention. Stalin decide with the Warsaw Treaty to annex all satellites in Soviet Union. Bologna is one of the most proudly communist oblasts in the new Soviet Territories

Granted I don't know how Eton actually works, but it is a secondary-level institution, not an actual college.

Well, yes, I know that. I meant it more in the sense that he involved himself in politics at Eton and took advantage of its provisions. I'll edit it to make it less confusing.
