A half hour did not allow me the time to draw up their platforms, but I'd imagine it would be something similar to the NDP and Liberals.

I mean, if I want to make a Canadian political party, I'm going to start by copy/pasting the Liberals wikibox into my sandbox. I'll add detail, sure, but it saves a lot of time to start with a template.
