Did we ever learn what party Mr. Saxon belonged to?

His very own party, Vote Saxon.

Also, has anyone noticed how much Farron and Saxon look alike?

Harold Saxon was probably originally Labour, since he was the Minister of Defence for the previous Prime Minister, Harriet Jones.

Fascinating, I was going to ask if the Commonwealth of Virginia is also a British realm?

Ah I see, an interesting on an OTL event.

I'd definitely be interested to see more about the Dominion of Columbia...

No, Virginia is an independent republic. Hm, maybe I shouldn't have called them both Commonwealths in that case... oh well.

The Dominion of Columbia, like OTL Canada, is a fairly liberal, federal constitutional monarchy, with Spanish speakers in California taking the place of French speakers in Quebec, although it doesn't have quite as much focus on multiculturalism as OTL Canada does, and is probably the second or third biggest economy in North America after Acadia and maybe the United American Provinces.

Well it looks like somebody was rather busy doing a bit of liberating here and there.

And Seth Bullock as Governor of the Congo Territory? I think Al Swearengen has something to say about that.

Scottish 2018 Election:

Following the UK's decision to leave the European Union Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon began the process of another Scottish Independence referendum. After securing a guarantee of an independent Scotland's place in the European Union, the First Minister called for the vote on the 3 year anniversary of the first referendum's defeat in 18th of September 2017. Scottish Labour feel into a schism when Labour Leader Kezia Dugdale came out for Independence, leading to the mass exodus of many pro-union labour members led by Neil Findlay. The Scottish Liberal Democrats ended up backing independence as well, however the Tories remained the main proponents of the Union. However come referendum day the Scottish people voted 61% - 39% in favour of independence.

A year later negotiations were almost finalised for a Scottish exit from the UK and so Nicola Sturgeon called another election hoping to achieve a majority in the Parliament and finally sign a deal on Scotland's independence. However the SNP would actually slip in their number of votes and seats but still by fair win enough seats to form a Government, but this time striking a deal with the Scottish Green Party to enter into a Coalition to give this new independence Scotland a stable majority Government.

If voter turnout and party vote had been equal to the 2014 European elections

Cool, I was just asking about that yesterday. I assume the Conservative-Liberal Democratic Government has been replaced by a Conservative-UKIP Government?

I've been contemplating doing it for the other European elections, but I went through a few of them and realised some would be dramatically different. If there's enough interest and I can create a narrative, I'll certainly have a go at it. (Earliest I could do would be 1983 using 1984 as the European election starting point)

Certainly the easiest way to create a coalition based on the seat projection with that model. Terrifying, but easy. :p

(I got bored and decided to make a Man in the High Castle infoboxes because a while ago someone else was making MitHC boxes and they asked me what I thought the music of the Pacific States would be like. I attempted to create an alternate music for it, but that's very difficult and so, after all this time, I made music for the Free States of America. It's a more depressing situation, but it's easier to do. And I did take some liberties with the lore.)

Rockies blues sounds like a a slightly faster and "rockier" version of the blues. Lyrics are usually about tales of heroes before the war or the current situation in the Free States. Tales of Johnny Appleseed, Lewis and Clark, cowboys out on the open plains, Okies, the unsung songs of those who fought in wars won and lost, and the poor living conditions, economy, and state of the nation. There is this despair that fills most singers of this type of music, a lost hope and a lost nation.
