Well personally I use Inkscape - but I know other people use different software... My advice is find a basemap you can use (I get mine from Wikipedia) download it in SVG format and then edit it.How do I create the electoral map for the specified country?!?
Thanks. Obviously , but rest assured that the Progressive Conservatives aren't going anywhere - they're pretty strong in Athabasca, Yukon and Alberta still and are unlikely to ever completely disappear thanks to support from the Imperial-level PCs.Amazing work as always. Obviously I hate the idea of Jim Prentice losing seats, but it could be worse. Wonderful map as well.
A suggestion of where Jon Stewart could go post Daily Show.....
*yoink* Canon. Will add to the list. And Stewart's election.
Who served between Bartlett and Obama in this universe? (2004-2008?)
I haven't decided on who goes there, but I'm airing on the side of no, it'll be a Republican because, well... 22 years of uninterrupted Democrat control of the White House is not something that happens every day. I mean, there's Jefferson-Jackson for the Dem-Rep/Democratic Party (40 years), There's Franklin Roosevelt and Truman (20 years)... I dunno if the people of the US would want 22 years of Democrats in the current day.Presumably Matt Santos as per the TV show.
2004: Bush isn't there. Pat Buchanan's Constitution splits the vote.I haven't decided on who goes there, but I'm airing on the side of no, it'll be a Republican because, well... 22 years of uninterrupted Democrat control of the White House is not something that happens every day. If someone could, idk, justify a 22 year Democratic White House to me, I'd be mighty grateful. ^^
That's some creepypasta fodder right thereEKNGA on the other hand is (in)famous around the Territory for it's odd productions, non-existent budget, and the small staff's love of absurdist humor, exploitation films and avant-garde cinematography (Something which has come to a terrifying conclusion in both EKNGA's version of Bozo the Clown, and Bozo's Macabre Movie.) Some of it's more notable productions, like Capn' Skoko's Pirate Picture have however been fairly successful in syndication, regardless of complaints about Capn' Skoko's rather jiggly and "slightly inappropriate for a Family Program" costume.
So it looks like it'd be an interesting field alright. The 2136 United States presidential election is a little over a year away, and already, the major candidates have declared and are lining up. Incumbent Democratic President Benjamin G. Thurman is seeking his second term, but there are several potential challengers to him from within his own party. With the Republicans, the presumptive frontrunner is former U.S. Senator Jake Dupree, who would bring a great deal of experience to the ticket. The Republican National Convention isn't scheduled until June 2136, but the first primaries are scheduled for November 2135. Of the 406 states, only 117 have primaries or caucuses, but less than 70 of those are binding. Most states select their candidates for the convention through their own conventions. Favorite son candidates do very well in their own primaries, and usually don't declare until a few months before. Below are the major candidates who have multi-state/commonwealth/planet campaigns and have been polled nationally.
