Alternate Weapons of War thread...

Not necessarily; there are just so many of them, and hardly any of them relate to alternate timelines...

It'd be nice if he threw us historians a bone and uploaded bits and bobs from Martini-Henrys, Metfords, Spencer carbines and so on :)

Yeah, It would be better to make alternate rifles for a alt-WWI or II. Though there is a M-14, MP-40, a Thompson, so I'm sure some of the more creative people could make some WWII weapons.

fixed. :D though it is still incomplete.

Update on my "project of d00m" or whatever. The small ship in the picture is a kind of rough sketch / guide I created. It's roughly what I'm aiming at. And I do mean "roughly" ._.

1 down. Only 7 ages to go! Oh, and if anyone cares; I'm guessing her length to about 240-250m but it could end up closer to 270-280.

The Brussels class Space Cruiser; among the first heavy combat ships of the Terran Confederate Naval Space Forces, the space-based branch of the Navy. In the middle 2100's, the UN reformed into the Terran Confederation, with a unified military that gradually expanded into a powerful force in world affairs. After piracy and rebellions in the far-flung colonies beyond the Asteroid Belt intensified, the inadequacy of the naval frigates and destroyers in combating these insurgencies came to light. A heavier ship was needed, which resulted in the Brussels class. With a crew of less than six hundred, due to modernisation and automation, it could hold many more Marines for land actions, and store far more missiles and shells for combat duty. With its single dorsal MAC gun, it can cripple any other ship; its large naval rifles, and plethora of missiles, augment its medium-range capabilities. The ship's multi-gigawatt fusion generator provides it with enough power to run a city, giving it a long fuel life before its helium-3 stores have to be replenished.

R-17B2 Assault Rifle, Main Rifle of the UPLC (United Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth) and also used by its allies (or satellites depending who you ask) The Baltic Union, Crimean Republic, Transylvania, the Cossack Confederation, and Georgia. Was developed from the R-17A1, adding a larger clip, slightly faster rate of fire, more reliability, and the easiest to notice, the combination sight and handle attached to the top. The A1's after being phased out where mostly exported cheaply to many South American nations, and are used commonly in Brush fire wars, such as the Amazon War and Terra de Fluego War. Is currently being used concurrently with the R-17C1, a updated version developed in 2000 as a stop gap for the development of a new rifle due in 2010.

It depends on your design philosophy. ITTL, the Terran Confederates think of spaceships as being more like space submarines. This philosophy takes a while to change.

Besides, I was only being half-serious. If you remember earlier, I had plenty of vessels that looked nothing like dicks.

This is more of showcasing the aircraft "in action" than merely presenting them.
