Alternate US Military Leaderhip WWII

George Marshal was promoted to Chief of Staff US Army over a large swath of senior general officers (I'm looking for a list I had). Close to sixty general officers IIRC. This was part of Roosevelts (with Stimsons approval) idea of cleaning house & ensuring younger men would be leading in WWII. There was precendent for this. Scott was sidelined along with a few other elderly Union general officers during 1862. In 1917 Pershing was jumped over many other senior officers to take command of the AEF.

Lets assume for a moment a conservative & unimaginative executive branch leaves allocation of responsiblities to seniority. Who would the likely corps and army commanders be in early 1943 & how would that shape US army mobilization, doctrine, training, and field performance?
