Treaty of Paris 1783
OTL American boundaries but addition of Bahamas, Bermuda and Sunbury County(OTL New Brunswick). All British West Indian possessions held by France since 1778 unless held before 1763 are ceded to the United States(clause;the United States may not renounce sovereignty, or by treaty sell said territories) Britain and US sign commercial treaty.
Spain gains West Florida, Mosquito Coast, British Honduras Minorca and Gibraltar.
France regains territory around the Senegal River and East Indian interests and all French West Indian possessions held before 1763
Britain gains Ceylon, Dutch East indies.
Okay so what effects of such a treaty? Britain still holds Canada, Nova Scotia, and East Florida but now also has the rich East Indies at the cost of its west Indian possessions. Does this strengthen the British empire in the long-term? What are the effects of Britain losing Gibraltar?
