Alternate post-Civil War amendments

I read about Pennsylvania's gradual manumission vs. Massachusetts's instant abolition and was wondering, what kind of amendment could've been adopted after the Civil War to allow gradual manumission? If the Radical Republicans had a bit more thought, could other amendments get passed like what the states suggested in their original passing of the constitution, like North Carolina's "Congress shall not declare any state to be in rebellion without the consent of at least two-thirds of all the members present of both houses.", or perhaps some of the innovations from the CSA Constitution (each law is about one subject)?

Which amendments could've passed or would've been good at this time to have passed? You can assume any alternate Civil War here - OTL, negotiated peace with re-union, early Union win, etc.
