Alternate Northern United States

For the sake of this question, I assume the following:

-Quebec, Nova Scotia, St John's Island joined in the American Revolution, and became states.
-Quebec released its land claims west of the Ottawa River to the US for creation of new states
-after Quebec becomes a state, and the Ottawa peninsula (up to Nipissing) becomes a state, and the remaining land becomes a state of its own (perhaps with OTL Michigan's upper peninsula, let's call it 'Manitoulin'), Rupert's Land is sold to the US.
-the Oregon Country ends up at 52°, allowing the US 3 states out of that land.

In that event, would the US reasonably extend that 52° line east? How far? And would Quebec have land annexed into it up to the Hudson? Would 'Manitoulin' have the land annexed to it up to the 52° line also? Or would that territory just sit there as the "Hudson Territory" on the map?
