Alternate "Napoleonic" Wars

I hear a lot about how WW2 might be different, such as "What if the CP won WW1?" or "What if Germany was communist and Russia fascist?". So I thought to myself, lets try that with another major war. Bar the obvious (WW1) the Napoleonic Wars fit the bill.

So how can the French Revolutionary/Napoleonic Wars be different, with in reason of course. What if it had occured in Britain? What if the Ottomans were stronger? Any question that can alter the Napoleonic Wars in such a way are welcom.

The Austrians/Prussians aren't as incompetent and manage to keep the revolutionaries from keeping Paris and expanding outwards. After a few years, France is permeanantly divided into a Republican France and a Kingdom of France. After a few years, the French Republic divides into a moderate (Giroundist, I think is the word) and more radical (sans-coulette) set of states. An obscure colonel named Napoleon uses his exemplary command skills to lead a rebellion and is proclaimed the King of Corsica. Of course, Britain, not to be outdone, invades across the English Channel and sets up puppets in Bretony and Normandy.

And thus we have Mosaic Francia...

Check out Thande's Look to the West TL. The PoD is earlier, but "Napoleonic" Wars still occur. However, Napoleon's a Captain in the RN this time around.
