Great!!! I would need names for if an alt USSR was to form later.RFSR? UMSR-Marxist socialist republics?
Union of Sovereign Soviet Republics?
I heard once that one name considered was the "Union of Euro-Asian Socialist Republics", but was changed because communism was obviously going to take over the world, and they needed a universal name for when that happened.
Unio de Sovetaj Socialismaj Respublikoj
(Google translate, so doubtful - I think there's supposed to be an 'n' after every 'j' in the endings)
Or
Unio de kun(???)ajn Socialismajn respubilikojn
or some such.
(words formed off 'kune' can translate Council, Junto and thus presumably Soviet)
There was a brief flirtation with Esperanto in the USSR in the very early days as the Union was supposed to be pan-ethnic, not just Russian.
Somebody did a TL with such a PoD.
Right. Objects of prepositions apparently don't take the oblique (accusative, whatever) case. Forgot that.La Unio de Sovetaj Socialismaj Respublikoj or Sovetunio or USSR or Sovetunio ,according to Wikipedia at least, so probably correct.
Just shorten it to SW ( stalins world )SWR
Socialist World Republic
