Alternate Names for Naples

If the island of Sicily and the mainland are separated as two different independent kingdoms in the 18th century and the joke of them both officially being the Kingdom of Sicily comes to an end, what are differencing names for the two kingdoms?

Would Naples actually just become Naples? Could Sicily become Trinacria and Naples be let as Sicily? Or would an ancient be revived for one of them?

Naples was always the common name for the region. "Sicily on this side of Faro" was the name used officially, but official terminology was quite different than common usage in those days.

According to Wikipedia, Puglia was also used to refer to southern Italy, thought it now only refers to the heel of Italy.

I've used Apulian Sicily and Apulia.

So you think Naples is more likely to drop the name of Sicily, than the island is?
