OTL Belgium took its capital and the shield on its coat of arms from the province of Brabant, which held much of its territory OTL and played a central role in the rebellion of 1789-90. Might it take the name as well?
Of course, that would not be very popular in the Netherlands, which would see it as expressing a claim to its section of Brabant - but I don't think Belgium claiming North Brabant, or even taking it in the war of independence, is beyond the bounds of plausibility. (After all, the province was majority Catholic, and while long part of the Netherlands had also long been a disenfranchised part.)
