Here was how the MPAA ratings were rolled out in 1968 IOTL...
G - General Audiences (all ages admitted)
M - Mature Audiences (parental discretion advised)
R - Restricted (Under 17 not admitted without a parent or adult guardian)
X - No one under 18 admitted (17 I'm guessing in some states)
My questions to you guys:
Did the MPAA stick with "Jim Rex" for a tad bit too long?
Could there have been different letters or acronymns for the different rating categories?
Should there be a rating lower than G to make G more attractive to kids who'd prefer PG or PG-13?
