- The POD must be after the end of the ancient Olympic Games (AD 393).
- The Olympics actually do have to be revived in a recognizable form.
I’ll start us off: If we assume an enduring Roman Empire to the modern day, existing as the pre-eminent superpower, what might the Olympics look like? Would they still be regarded similarly to how we regard them, rotating through various host cities, or might they be run under the thumb of the Roman government, perhaps still held at Olympia?
