Alternate Imjin

What if Luzon remained Independent from the Borneans(before being ceded to Spain, it was a Bornean territory) and were propped up by and vassal of the Ming would they be involved in the Imjin wars between Korea and Japan or they will just remain silent?

Mainland Japan seems quite far from the Philippines, although a growing Luzon can try contest Japanese maritime hegemony in Southeast Asia during the time.

Proximity alone is going to point either to Hokkaido or Korea, and as far as I can tell, there isn't much that the Japanese know about Hokkaido at the time beyond the fact that it's sparsely populated by Ainu. Korea and China just seem like more tempting prizes, though that conversely makes them infinitely more dangerous opponents (mainly China).

Luzon... I'm not sure. Could Hideyoshi be dissuaded from invading Korea?

The short answer is not really.

The Question is that they would be involved, the Borneans and Luzonians have the same relationship as Koreans and Japanese but if the Japanese made Luzon as a vassal the Japanese might get a piece in the Spice trade and Gold which Luzon both has.

Which Japan already did have access to the spice trade, with the red seal ships. They have no political impetus to do so either.

I was thinking on something else...on a what if scenario...
I was thinking if Majapahit accepts Islam and its core accepts Islam, I think these will be the consequences

-Luzon accepts Islam voluntarily - since it is allied with Majapahit, not like what happened in OTL where in it was forced upon, them, they will use their religions Paganism and Islam as a rallying point against the Spanish like Mindanao did making the Spanish hold in the philippines harder than OTL, the Visayans' life will be harder because the Luzonians also treat the Visayans as source of Slaves so more slave raiding there.

-An Islamisation of Bali and the other areas that remained Animist and Hindu that were parts of Majapahit will be Islamic.

were propped up by and vassal of the Ming

Then they would be on the Ming side, with at least moral and diplomatic support and possibly with some troops or supplies. Many rulers of Ming tributaries, like the Ryukyu Kingdom and Siam, pledged support to the Ming Emperor during the Imjin conflict.

Basically.

The goal in attacking Korea was to establish a beachhead into China so that they could conquer it...yes, Hideyoshi actually thought that he could take over China, and then even move into taking over India. Now, as far as China went, this was something that even Nobunaga considered doing as a post-unification project and there was logic in having thousands of thousands of battle-hardened veterans be given something to fight for as Japan itself is de-militarised. That said, the only time where taking Korea over became the objective was when ceasefire talks (already a farce built on lies and deliberate mistranslation) collapsed and thinking went from world domination to basically getting revenge on Korea for fighting back.

Hideyoshi was very much determined to break into China and take it over, this being his dream project. Personally, I think his determination came from a sense of megalomania, as seen by his story of a goddess blessing his mother's pregnancy thus making his rise totally natural, wanting to show that he could surpass Nobunaga, and his own sense of knowing that he was socially inferior to his subordinates for a long while. The only way to keep Hideyoshi from invading Korea is for them to allow him to go through them to take over China (ASB for many reasons), or for him to be unable to do so whether by his death or internal troubles.
