Alternate Husbands for Margret of Flanders

Margret of Flanders' marriage to Phillip the Bold in 1369 was one of the, if not the most important dynastic union of the 14th century. It laid the groundwork for the rise of the Burgundian state and the unification of the Low Countries as a political entity. But, who are some other possible matches for Margret? I know that Edmund of Langley was almost betrothed to her, but the English could not get papal consent. Who else could marry the late 14th century's most elegible heiress? What kind of state could emerge from this union?

Originally Margaret was betrothed to Philip of Rouvres, the last duke of Burgundy from the Capetian house of Burgundy.

However you may want something more different?:)

Well certainly. I'm looking for a POD between 1364 and her marriage in 1369. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable bride for Phillip to Bold?

POD in 1365. Albert of Holland's wife develops complications while giving birth to would-be William VI of Holland. She and the baby both die in labor.

Albert has no male heirs, his older brother is currently nutbars and won't be producing any heirs, period. Albert remarries to Margaret, they have a son, Flanders-Holland personal union.

Thats just the kind of POD I was looking for. A Flanders-Holland union would be awesome!

Margaret of Flanders is also the heir of Franche Comte.
