Alternate History of WW2 as told in NYT headlines

You could absolutely have FDR as president in the US and German rearmament and reorganization taking a different path with different choices made. I reject that kind of deterministic view. There are plenty of instances in the 1930s where individual persons and personalities made a big difference in how things were organized and what choices were made. Those choices, taking place in Nazi Germany would not have tipped the direction of US presidential politics one way or another.

You can justify yourself all you want, but I strongly suggest you take a look at my previous statements.

I assure you that our critiques are all in good nature, after all, what is the point of coming to AH.com other than to learn? I, personally, am waiting to see what the Hell the date is before I attempt to criticize this. Although, in all fairness, it does seem incredibly ASB for the US to surrender like that, no matter the timeframe. Atlanta isn't that important of a city, and atom-bombing US soil is just going to strengthen the resolve of the US resistance (which will be viscous thanks to that pesky 2nd Amendment of ours).

And on slightly-related note. How would the NY Times have knowledge of Nazi plans to bomb Boston? The Nazis are insane but they aren't stupid enough to leak their plans to the point where even enemy newspapers somehow know about them.

Not at all. About what?
Well I was talking to Zebra but...
Alright you take a more severe gilded age setting up political extremism in the early 20th century. The TL would be telling the history of the nation and the world throb different newspaper, all biased to some extent like actual news. Struck me as a cool idea, it's open to be a collaborative if others want to join.

You don't need to ask Zebra for permission, several others have done TLs like this one, albeit with less ridiculous premises. And I would certainly read one on the Gilded Age.

Really! Great.
Well it would mostly take place after the guilder age and how it goes even worse than it did with us and leaves to some major changes and a LOT of instability in the US.
