Alternate History Combat Aircraft

WI Eastern Europe was a ravaged wasteland after World War 2?
Russia is too exhausted to "give a %$#@!
From Poland to Greece, the region descends into chaotic smuggling routes governed by feuding warlords/narco trafficantes. They move weapons, drugs, silk, slaves, electronics, gold, etc. along traditional Silk Road routes.
.... Oh!
Wait a minute!
That sounds like the former Yugoslavia during the 1990s!

Each warlord assembles a scruffy air force from whatever airplanes he/she can salvage from scrap yards. With Russia not caring and West Allies going home as quickly as they can, what operational arms that remain are sold to warlords by starving soldiers.
I can see a lot of old Luftwaffe aircraft being used as well as Soviet, Allied, Romanian, Hungarian, and Italian planes.

In fact, some of my earlier posts, which are about fictional liveries for German aircraft inspired by the Magnificent Kotobuki anime, fits the bill in a way.

And here is a Sky-Pirate livery for a German Bf-109 F-4.

Two more Japanese Jet Fighters for a post-SGW world in TL-191 = When I do eventually post them onto the TL-191 other combatants thread, I will make summaries of these planes.

Kawasaki Ki-162 Shusui (Sharp Sword) = This was the first plane I had mostly made from scratch, with a couple of components from the Ki-100.

Nakajima Ki-204 Karyū (Fire Dragon) = Whereas this, I used a MiG-17 SN as the base and I added the tail section from a French Dassault Mysterie and made some other tweaks.
These designs are beautifully created!!

Interesting, warlords with their own little air forces. I'll give it some thought, I can imagine some mix-matches of Soviet/German airframes and engines.
I was more thinking around the lines of sturdy transport or training aircraft being adapted as fighters and ground attack planes- think cropdusters with bazookas

of course the timeline of post-WW-II will see more PO-2's, Piper cubs and C-47's- with the odd German Brücker or Klemm Mixed in.

Ju-52 converted to gunship.
ju52-warlord.jpg

Added three heavy MG's to waist position, a bomb beneath fuselage and a warlord's personal skull and crossbones emblem.
Similar in concept to the C47 gunship dubbed "Puff the Magic Dragon" that was used in Vietnam.

Here's a couple of TL-191 liveries of Confederate Aircraft I made some time ago.

A CSAAC Sopwith Pup fighter from the 76th Fighter Squadron, Roanoke Front, circa late 1916.

A Confederate States Naval Air Service Spad S. VII fighter of the 11th Fighter Squadron, Northern Virginia, circa April of 1917.

Very nice inspired me to make a Union Fighter.

Fokker D-VII of Captain Richard Rickenbacker circa 1918.

Could even be a special Luftwaffe gunship to support Fallschirmjager ops in an ATL.
Just have to switch out the skull and crossbones with the Totenkopf.

If anyone's willing to do a line drawing for me, I'm looking for a Mil 35 Hind that's tail has been coverted into a pusher propeller arrangement similar to the S 97 Raider.

Alternatively, the Ka 52 or Ka 50 with a similar arrangement would also be neat. Just trying to see which one would better fit my narrative.

Rather than line drawings - I'd be very interested in something more like an 'artist impression' or 3D view of the Boulton-Paul P.88a . The aircraft appears in plan form, in the BSP Fighters & Bombers 1935 - 1950 but I struggle to find any more info on this ATL 'combat aircraft'. Anyone assist?
