Alternate History Combat Aircraft

Now for an alternate first jet fighter for the Japanese in the TL-191 universe
ki-154.png

A Ki-154 Sutōmubādo (Storm Bird) Turbo Fighter, this fighter was the Imperial Japanese Army Air Service's first Turbo Fighter to enter operational service, this model was actually a modified Ki-100 fighter which had it's original Mitsubishi Kinsei engine replaced with a locally made copy of the Rolls-Royce Derwent jet engine. It was armed with two wing mounted 20mm cannons with two more in the nose. The plane would enter service with the IJAAS in 1946 and served in some frontline units for a time until being withdrawn to the trainer role in 1948.

I know I've seen that before but I can't place it. Isn't it from a TL involving some sort of island off the Breton coast, or am I imagining things? It's actually really bugging me that I can't put my finger on it.
I meant Uruk, he hasn't posted anything here or some of the other threads we frequent in a while.
I believe the plane he posted is a re-work of an old design of his.

Like Cortz said its just a repost of an old F-84 variant, if you are/were active on Whatif modellers you might have seen it in the
Patchwork world thread

Two more Japanese Jet Fighters for a post-SGW world in TL-191 = When I do eventually post them onto the TL-191 other combatants thread, I will make summaries of these planes.
ki-162.png

Kawasaki Ki-162 Shusui (Sharp Sword) = This was the first plane I had mostly made from scratch, with a couple of components from the Ki-100.

ki-204.png

Nakajima Ki-204 Karyū (Fire Dragon) = Whereas this, I used a MiG-17 SN as the base and I added the tail section from a French Dassault Mysterie and made some other tweaks.

I like both of those.

Strategic military airlift variant of the 747-400F cargoliner. Basically a take on a production version of the C-33 proposal Boeing fielded to complement the Globemaster III.

Oh yes!!! The 747 was designed with mass cargo in mind ASAIK, that's why the cockpit is where it is. It has huge potential for so many other uses. Maybe fill it up with cruise missiles on rotary launchers?

Boeing's actual proposal was to build the C-33 as a strategic airlifter to work in tandem with the Globemaster III. The 747 can't handle rough runways and I don't know if it could carry superwide military cargos, but it can carry much more by volume and it would've been cheap to develop, if a bit more expensive to operate.

The one I've mocked up here is basically a straight strategic airlift version.

Now some more of my Magnificent Kotobuki inspired aircraft liveries.
Bandit Yak-9.png

A Yakovlev Yak-9P that was a personal mount for a Sky Pirate, with his personal emblem being a yellow lightning bolt.

Pirate BF-109G.png

Another Sky Pirate fighter, this time being a Bf-109 G-2 variant, with much of the fuselage, tail, nose, and wings having been repainted to a red and cream color paint job. As you can see here, the Hakenkreuz and the wing Balkenkreuz are still visible despite the pilot's attempt to cover them up. Also seen are seven kill marks above the aforementioned Hakenkreuz.

Merc FW-190A.png

A Mercenary operated Fw-190 A-4 fighter, in which it's previous Luftwaffe insignia have been painted over, with their the Mercenary's own roundel being painted over the Balkenkreuz while the pilot of this particular fighter had painted on top the covered Hakenkreuz with the coat of arms of the Wolyn Voivodeship during the 2nd Polish Republic Era.
