Alternate History Combat Aircraft

Big Nell an upgraded version of "Little Nell" as seen in the James Bond film "You Only Live Twice". This version has a larger engine taken from a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a pair of MG's.

This design was originally requested by La Rouge Beret.

As I am completely unable to do any of these kind of drawing, a request if I may? A mistletoe/mistel of a Hurricane and a Wellington?

If I can find a good line drawing of both planes I'd be happy to make one but my friend Claymore who scales up things for me won't be available about another week or so.
So you might have to wait a bit unless I get lucky and find both pics in the same scale. I'll PM you when I have something.

I found a pair of pics that I think are pretty close to the same scale so I did this drawing to give us an idea of what a British Mistel might look like. Consider this a rough draft and when my friend Claymore is back I will do an exact scale drawing.

being the XGB-1 Shooting Star, a F-80 modified into a guided missile with either being armed with a Conventional or Nuclear Warhead.

Flettner Fl-422 Kolibri (Humming bird) ram-jet auto-gyro, standard equipment on all Type XXI U-boats starting in 1946.
Armament two 20mm cannons and a pod with four air to surface R4M rockets slung beneath each wing. The Kolibri was a very small aircraft that required the pilot to lay prone inside the cockpit.

This one also started out as a request by La Rouge Beret but I took it in a different direction than what he wanted so after he passed on it I turned it into a Luft.46 design because that just the kind of thing I'm prone to do.

How about a F85 Goblin/B36 Mistel?

The Beegee racing plane developed as a fighter similar to the I-16?

A P-35/B-18 Mistel?

A Dauntless Tankbuster?

A Wildcat/Catalina Mistel?

A P39 with Turbo Superchargers and 20mm armament(no 37mm or .50 cals)?

A Spruce Goose Spectre Gunship?

A P-38 jet similar to the Brit Vampire? Or would the F7F Tigercat work better?

Advance the HE-280 as a jet interceptor?

Yeah, I'm off my meds...

The XGB-2 Marauder was an experimental Mistel developed by the U.S. Air Force in 1950 as less ambitious backup in case the early Guided missiles were to be failures in any way. This involved an F-84 serving as the transport and the missile in question was a B-26 Marauder being rearmed with a warhead in the nose. The warhead was either a conventional or nuclear one, the project was scrapped in 1953 due to not only the success of the early American guided missiles, but also the flaws of the XGB system, which included vulnerability to enemy ground fire and/or aircraft. By this time 7 surplus B-26 and 9 F-80 air frames were modified.

One of the craziest things I ever drew, a piloted version of the Fieseler Fi-103 (V-I) with a piston engine mounted in the nose instead of a warhead, plus larger wings, tri-rudders and guns.

I don't know why I drew this and as one of my friends said "its ugly as sin" but I kind of like it, don't ask me why.
