Alternate History Challenge: Disney buys Marvel and Star Wars in the 70's andd 80's?

What are the chances of it?

Marvel was purchased a couple of times in the 80's. I think it went for something close to $50 million in 1986, and then $90 million in 1989. Disney might be able to afford to do it since they were a multi-billion dollar company at the time. And heck while they were at it they could have bought Pixar in 1986 from George Lucas for around $10 million. Both purchases save them something like $10 billion they'd end up spending later to get them. And with all the Marvel characters under one roof, before the movie rights were sold to different studios, we could eventually get one gigantic MCU with them all together.

As for Star Wars, the easiest way is to simply finance the film from the start. But don't make the stupid mistake 20th Century Fox did by letting Lucas keep the merchandising rights. Of course without all that Star Wars money does Lucasfilm have the funds to create the Graphics Group which became Pixar?

I could see marvel being very Disneyfied if bought too early.
