After the death of Simon Bolivar, Santander and Paez divides the Gran Colombia and this becomes Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. What happens if Simon Bolivar don't dies by Tuberculosis and the Gran Colombia not divides?
I don't know if Bolivar living would be enough, or even necessarily a good thing. It was Bolivar's centralism and later on authoritarianism that alienated a lot of people, and lost him a lot of supporters for the idea of Gran Colombia. Bolivar was a brilliant general, but not so much an administrator.
