are there any good time lines about Germany regains great power status after ww1 without Hitler or nazi germany or about the return of the kaiser to germany?
Agreed. Avoid the Nazis and WW2 and pretty much by default Germany gets better over time. Part of the issue is that as long as the colonial system remains and the tariff wars still linger without WW2 the problems of the pre-war anti-trade system remain. Colonialism needs to die for the post-war boom to have a chance of happening and without a global consensus on that true recovery remains elusive for everyone. Ultimately Germany will probably get involved in the struggle for preferential markets and the world will probably not let Japan get away with invading China if there aren't Nazis causing trouble in Europe at the time and a civil war in Spain (which without the Nazis is hard to get off the ground), with an aggressive Italy invading Ethiopia. German probably carves out its own shadow empire for trade and once again becomes a player in the world, but it won't be as rich as it became after WW2 so long as there are the various trade empires cutting out competition around the world. Not sure if or when that will end without WW2.Not really time lines, but I've read some knowledgable arguments how Stresmans (Sp?) government might have resovled a lot of problems had the French government or Brits offered even a few substantial concessions. Keep the NSDAP out of the government & a lot of baggage can be shed as the Depression fades and a new post war generation comes of age in the 1940s.

The most likely candidate to take the place of NSDAP in terms of seizing power when the Weimar Republic collapses and leading the country into remilitarization and expansion would be the Deutsche National Volkspartei (DNVP). Parts of it favored the restoration of the monarchy, per the OP's request. I've actually thought of doing a timeline about a DNVP-led Germany in WW2, but those ideas just kind of got merged into Wagner's Germany. Anyway, they're probably the simplest way to bring about what the OP wants.
