Alternate German Fascist movement help

I'm trying to come up with a different Fascist movement in a timeline idea where Hitler is killed on the western front. I would appreciate some feedback and any help with finding resources that may be of use in such a timeline.

One key thing I'm wishing to do is to incorporate the anti-semitism of the period without making them into Nazi's, with an idea of "German first, Jew second" and "Separating the religion from the culture" eg the idea that one can be German and practice Judaism, but they must be culturally German, or some such. I had the thought of perhaps a sort of "Citizenship test" that would be put forward by this alternate movement, where Jews in Germany would be given a test to determine how "Germanic" they are.

I guess a simpler thing to say is I'm looking to create a German fascist movement that focuses more on Assimilation than the outright hatred the nazi's purported.

(it should be noted that whether or not this movement is successful is up in the air in this timeline I have. The original thought was to focus on Italy and how things would progress differently without a Nazi Germany to deal with)

Any thoughts?

There were other political parties like the DNVP that were quasi-nazi during the 1920s and later merged with the nazi party. Without Hitler it's possible for them to attract a large percentage of the electorate in the 1930s. Most of these movements saw Jews as a distinct race however, so they'll probably push the Jews to emigrate or something like that rather than assimilate them.

German conservatism was anti-Semetic as it was, to say nothing of völkisch and Pan-German ideology. Jews--as symbols of Modernity--are inevitable targets of fascism.
