POD is that WW2 never happens so FDR doesn't run for a third term
genusmap.php

Postmaster General James Farley/ Senator Majority Leader Alben W. Barkley - 335 EV
Senator Robert A. Taft/ Representative Dewey Jackson Short - 196 EV

Following incumbent president Franklin Roosevelt declaring that he wouldn't run for a third term, Postmaster General James Farley swooped up the nomination from incumbent vice president John Nance Garner and would go on to win the presidency in the 1940 election.

genusmap.php

President James Farley/ Vice President Alben W. Barkley - 319 EV
Governor Thomas E. Dewey/ Governor John W. Bricker - 212 EV

genusmap.php

Governor Thomas E. Dewey/ Governor Earl Warren - 298 EV
Vice President Alben W. Barkley/ Senator Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. - 233 EV

1968 election but instead of Nixon and Humphrey, Reagan and RFK get their party's nominations instead. (And obviously RFK survives)
genusmap.php

Senator Robert F. Kennedy/ Governor John Connally - 276 EV
Fmr Governor Ronald Reagan/ Governor James A. Rhodes - 217 EV
Fmr Governor George Wallace/ General Curtis LeMay - 45 EV

And here's 1972
genusmap.php

President Robert F. Kennedy/ Vice President John Connally - 332 EV
Governor Nelson Rockefeller/ Senator Howard Baker - 206 EV
I feel like 1968 would look more like this:

genusmap.php

Senator Robert F. Kennedy (D-NY)/Governor John Connally (D-TX) - 342 EV, 49% PV
Governor Ronald Reagan (R-CA)/Governor Jim Rhodes (R-OH) - 186 EV, 45% PV
Fmr. Governor George Wallace (AI-AL)/Ret. General Curtis LeMay (AI-CA) - 10 EV, 4% PV

It’s still a very good map nonetheless :)

My first electoral map (pretty shitty, I know) Illinois and New Jersey were flipped. 260 EVs Kennedy, 262 EVs Nixon, and the decider of the election Byrd with 15 EVs. I will also make this a wikibox.

2018 elections in the UAR (United Arab Republic). Basic platforms of the parties:

The Arab Democrats are a party endorsing Arab interests in the international community and secular democracy. Embraces the improvement of human right and the protection of social and economic rights for all citizens.

The
Ba'athist Party is a Third Position party that promotes Arabic ultra-nationalism, socialist economics, strongman politics, and dealing with those pesky Iranians to the east by any means necessary. All too willing to accept campaign funds from Westerns looking to sow division in the Middle East.

Kurds' Party is a basic center-left party looking out for Kurdish interests. Promotes the eventual separation of the Kurdish dominated Northeast into an independent country.

Islamic Peoples Party wants little more than to have all within the land obey religious law in all ways of life. Controversially, they are alleged to have ties to violent extremist groups in other parts of the Muslim world.

My first attempt at a 2020 Election prediction with a 3 way race. Self-explanatory. Cue the civil unrest/mass protests by Trump supporters. Warren wins back "blue wall states" and NE-02 but Kasich and Hickenlooper wins OH and CO, giving Warren the barest of margins.
RmW9m.png

Sen. Elizabeth A. Warren (D-MA)/Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-CA) 270 (40.6%)
Pres Donald J. Trump (R-NY)/VP Mike Pence (R-IN) 241 (36.4%)
Fmr. Gov. John R. Kasich (I/R-OH)/Fmr. Gov. John W. Hickenlooper (I/D-CO) 27 (16.2%)
Fmr. Gov. Bill Weld (L-MA)/Mr. Austin W. Peterson (L-MO) 0 (3.4%)
Dr. Jill E. Stein (G-MA)/Rep. Keith Ellison (G/D-MN) 0 (2.8%)
Others 0 (0.6%)

POD: Reagan picks Anderson as his unity VP instead of H.W. meaning he doesn't siphon off the less dedicated Carter voters. But then again this is being generous with the tighter margins. The less charitable one is Reagan (296) against Carter (242). A more fun one would be if Carter loses the Northwest and both have 269 and Congress agrees to make Anderson as Carters new VP.

An intentially fun but ASB 1980 election. Kennedy steals the nomination from Carter, Carter runs as a southern independent, and John Anderson decides to keep his independent run but mostly focused on rural areas and liberal areas

genusmap.php

Reagan is blue, Anderson is dark red, Kennedy is normal red, and Carter is green
