Alternate Divisions of Scandinavia

So OTL Scandinavia [1] coalesced into 3 nations around Atlantic fjords (Norway), Northern Baltic (Sweden) and Baltic Approachs/Sounds (Denmark).
What other divisions could have arisen?

One possibility is 2: a "mega-Denmark" - including Scania, Geatland, Southern Norway, and possibly Pomerania and Northern Saxony - and a "North Kingdom" - of Trondheim to Sweland and likely including Finland, Iceland, possibly Estonia.

So what other nations are possible? And what external territories would cause/assist these?

Maybe the parts of Southern Norway east of the mountains joins Sweden? I am a Scandianavianist myself, so I would personally have liked to see the three Scandinavian countries becoming a single state. The three languages are very close, although Danish may be a bit hard to understand to many Norwegians and Swedes due to the pronunciation. But if they had become a part of a single state at some point before 1900, the languages would probably have moved much closer to each other by now.

A separate state for the northern areas is an interesting thought, although if this had happened it would probably have happened at quite a late point. If Scandinavia should become a single state at some point in the future, I think one should be open to dividing the area on another way than at present. Particularly it would be natural to make the northern parts of Sweden and Norway part of a single region.

How are you at rigging up maps? What you've laid out is a bit of an "overhaul", so even a pretty generic map might help.

Valdemar II winning the Battle of Lena or Gestilren putting a vassal king on the Swedish throne, and later using that extra manpower to succed in Battle of Bornhöved keeping control over the North Germanic Duchies, which the Emperor Frederick II had signed off (Golden Bull of 1214), would be a good start
