Alternate Division of Germany after WW2 and post war ideas

East Germany is Prussia minus Memel(given to Soviets), Posen(Poland), and upper Silesia(Poland). Stalin does this after deciding a defeated and divided Germany isn't coming back from this and this state would be the best human shield between the USSR and the west.. He also wants to weaken the Polish state as much as possible to avoid conflict. East Germany is named Prussia because Stalin and Russia hopes to create a new national identity within the country that hopefully stops any possible reunification. Thoughts?

Additionally what if West Germany is divided into two or three countries when a renewed British and French Empire break away from its alliance with America. The Rhineland Republic(French influence), Kingdom of Hanover which is made up of the former British zone(it is democratic. The king is symbolic only), and the Austrian Republic which is made up of Austria merged with south Germany(American influence). The all give the these different names for the same reason Stalin did. They hope to get rid of the idea of a unified German national identity. Thoughts on all this?

Second Alternate: Fascist Italy and Mussolini are a lot more powerful and smart(mixed with some luck). They start the war as neutral and play both sides to their benefit. Italy uses the distraction of the early war years to take over the Balkans, Greece, and "retake" Constantinople. They also coercion(with German help) Vichy France to give Italy its claims over Franch territory. They also buy Tunisia and French Somaliland from them. Italy also convinces Britain to sell British Somaliland for war resources. They trade with both sides. Some trades are secret until after the war. Others are not. Italy allows Hitler to deport Jews(during and before war) to Italy if he agrees to let them bring their wealth which he does(holocaust still happens just without Jews. More Poles, Slavs, Romai, and other groups die in there place). Jews are mostly sent to the Italian colonies. Mussolini then works out a deal with Hitler during the war to send military figures, scientist, and other important people within his government he has issues with to Italy. One of these figures is Rommel who flees to Italy with his family during the war after having a fallout with Hitler. Italy declares war on Germany right after the Americans land on D Day. They move quickly through south Germany due to many people in the German government secretly communicating(through Vatican) with Italy once the war looked lost. Germans surrendered to Italian forces in large numbers or were directed to other fronts to slow down the Soviets and the Allies. Rommel and other former German military leaders leading these armies helped with soldiers accepting demands of surrender. Italy basically agreed in secret meetings to be very lenient with the Germans after defeat and help keep many of the less extreme members in power. SS with the exception of scientist were to be all executed. The Italians would only charge SS and the Nazi elites with blame and crimes committed during the war. Italy would state after the war the Wehrmacht only "followed orders". Italy also does this to Romania to save them from Soviet invasion. By the end of the war Italy controls Austria, South Germany, and half of Czechoslovakia(Czech Republic). Italy unites all of this into one nation under a fascist government(Wehrmacht, Junkers who flee communist rule, and Catholics) and Austrian rule. Soviets do the same thing to East Germany as the previous post. The rest of Germany is made into one democratic nation by the allies. Thoughts?
