Alternate Colonization of North America

In 1606, a fire breaks out at the headquarters of the Virginia Company in London, destroying the building's interior entirely and putting an end to the idea of a corporate settlement in North America. About 20 years later, however, a different group of English settlers arrive in what was to become our Virginia. The Puritans. Without Jamestown, how does the Puritan settlement of Virginia fair, and what changes are wrought?

Interesting, but Opechancanough seems to have been against any tassantassas in Tsenacomoco (the Powhatan realm) from the very beginning, even in 1607. There isn't any real reason to assume he suddenly had a change of heart (or that something like the decimation of the Wampanoags has happened), and by 1620 Powhatan was dead and Opechancanough would have been already in charge for about half a decade.

Personally what I think would be the most likely option: the Powhatans wipe out the bedraggled pilgrims.
