Alternate Cold War Alliances (South Asia)

In OTL, Pakistan aligned with the United States and India, though Non-Aligned, aligned with the Soviet Union. In this timeline, India is more anti-Soviet and leans toward the United States and Pakistan would join China and Albania's bloc of anti-Soviets. Would the "Opening of China" still occur without Pakistan?

Well, then I guess the preliminary meeting in 1972 would be held in India, with it being the mediator between China and the US. The main reason OTL occurred was because AFAIK India was the beacon of anti-West, anti-Imperialist thought for decades and it was quite hostile towards any Western power.
