Alternate causes for Great War?

Hey there!
So, I'm wondering if the 1910s had any other possible event or action that might have triggered a global conflict, instead of Princip and the Austro-Hungarian heir? I'm looking for anything that might have happened between 1909-1915, nothing later than that. Any ideas? I've tried to do some research on Sakhalin island and the Russo-Japanese conflict, but that doesn't seem plausible enough.

So, would any of you know? Could some other event have triggered the first World War?

Who was it said "Peace remains at the mercy of an incident?" The situation in Europe in 1914 was in many ways similar to the height of the Cold War with the continent divided between 2 heavily armed groups. However in the Cold War you had the stabilising influence of nuclear weapons with the threat of M.A.D. which caused political leaders to act rationally for fear of triggering a nuclear war. In 1914 you did not have this and leaders were more inclined to carry out provocative actions because they believed that the ensuing war would be over relatively quickly. Unless European leaders were prepared to adopt more concilliatory positions to each other then WW1 was pretty inevitable, if the Archduke had survived his trip to Sarajevo then the chances are that some other flashpoint, most likely somewhere else in the Balkans, would have happened with similar consequences.
